What can I say, a paradise, another planet, we are from Puerto Rico and we went to live the experience of skiing and snow tubing, but we were impressed by the place so central to everything.

This is just a great ski resort! Wonderful location! Wonderful staff, great teachers at the ski school! I think I like it because it’s not too big and it’s not too small and it’s absolutely beautiful here! We look forward to coming back again next year!

I really liked the slopes although since it was already March they were already a little icy. To get there you have to pass many pear-shaped curves!Rooms: ComfortableNearby activities: As for activities, we moved to winter park because Granby is very small.Safety: My daughter fell while learning to snowboard and the medical help came quickly and treated herFood & drinks: A little bit of everything, prices like any ski resortNoteworthy details: The kindness of the people

I think we’ll return, there are some definite upsides to this ski resort— particularly parking, ease of access, and overall # of people on the mountain. It is cheaper than, say, Winter Park, but not proportionately cheaper relative to the # of runs, length of runs, amenities, etc. So it’s a trade off you have to consider — money savings vs overall experience. Staff is friendly and helpful.

We love Granby Ranch. Granby is our favorite place to ski! My kids learned how to ski here at their ski school 3 years ago and we come back every year because it’s perfect for our family. This year I tried cross country skiing for the first time and my sister, who has never skied at all before, joined me. The golf course trails were a little melted due to the warm weather but the Nordic trials the quick lift takes you to were amazing! I don’t think many people come here to cross country ski as we didn’t see more than a couple on the trail, but man was it great. It was the best ski day I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it. As it was our first time XC skiing, we timed our route wrong and were still working our way back when the lift to get us down was closing. We called Ski Patrol and Mitch (the dispatcher) was so kind and told us if we weren’t at the lift before close that it was no problem and ski patrol would get us - we almost made it, but not quite! Alex from Ski Patrol was so great - he came and got us both and took us down the mountain on a snow mobile! It was AWESOME and a really memorable way to end our day. Thank you to Alex and Mitch for getting us back to base! Thank you to Granby for another awesome trip!!

Granby Ranch is the perfect blend of adventure and peace! No long lines, friendly staff, and entertainment for all. As a season pass holder from Florida we have many choices but continue to return each year.Safety: The safety of all is of utmost importance at Granby. Great place for folks learning.Food & drinks: Plenty of quick options for quick food/drink or sit down dining.

We had a great time skiing. Lack of advanced variety lead to some boredom for our more experienced skiers, but for the beginners in our group it was perfect. I did eat it a couple times but I popped back up and kept cruising. Y’all got it I believe in you.

This was our first trip to Granby Ranch. First thing about this place is the food. The food selection was ok and the price was fair. I wish there was another dining area preferably at the top of the mountain.Second, lift tickets+rental: I’ve been to different ski resorts with varying sizes and I feel like the lift tickets and rentals here were pricey for what they offered. For this reason, I don’t think I’ll be returning because I’d rather spend the same amount of money enjoying more varying courses and trails.Third, Lifts: There was only one main lift with blues and greens- and this lift was very, very busy (especially during the weekend). There’s one advanced lift called “Conquest” that is only for the advanced skiers. I feel like with the price of the lift ticket, they should provide more lift options. The employees at each lift weren’t the nicest and they needed to be more attentive to the loading zone because the condition was poor (except for the bunny hill).Lastly, the ski school and the patrol:These people are probably the reason I would come back again. My son was in the ski school in a large group but the instructor was very patient with kids and great! And my daughter got hurt and the patrol team took care of her really well, especially Tharon and Sofia. I would give them 10/10. Overall, we enjoyed our family trip here but the price of the lift tickets and rental is the huge decision maker for us to visit next time.

We were so pleased with our ski experience at Granby Ranch. It was cheaper and less crowded than Winter Park. Parking was a breeze, and the facilities were very clean, with helpful and friendly staff. The slopes were well maintained, and there were lots of good options for our family so we could ski all day and never get bored. I definitely recommend Granby Ranch for families.
