I recently visited the Grand Elk Grille at the Grand Elk Golf Club, and overall, it was a decent experience. I appreciated that the place was open to the public, contrary to my initial concern about it being exclusive to club members. The live music added a nice touch to the ambiance, and there was a decent selection of alcoholic beverages available. However, I found the food options to be somewhat limited.Despite the lack of a large crowd, there was enough activity and socialization, especially considering it was 5:00 on a Friday after a major snowstorm. For our appetizer, we tried the Warm Crab Dip, which my wife enjoyed, but I found it a bit too heavy on the crab and lacking in cheese. Our main course, the Wagyu Burger and fries, was satisfying, although at $20 per item, it leaned towards the pricey side.On the bright side, the service was excellent, which definitely added to the overall positive experience. Overall, while there were some hits and misses with the food, the atmosphere and service made it a pleasant outing.

They charged 16.75 for a Bombay G&T. Only 8 for Titos. Double checked next day a d was confirmed. And it was NOT a double. They charge 16 for a single! We have a place there and won't drink there again...after golf or skiing!I gave it a 2 because we enjoyed the live music and atmosphere, but will not support that kind of gouging.

It's a nice place if you're stopping to eat after a game of golf. However, if you're just looking to eat, this is probably not the best choice. It's a little difficult to find and it's part of a golf course. Since my friends and I were traveling, we felt out of place compared to the people that seemed like they were on a regular basis. It doesn't feel like a restaurant, it feels like a dining room in a country club.

Had the Wagyu burger, fries, and cheese sticks. Everything was amazing. Great atmosphere. Gorgeous overlook.
The hostess and servers were friendly, attentive, and fun. They were the best part of the evening. Had to send the filet back because it was overcooked, and the replacement was only marginally better. The chicken fried steak was edible but nondescript. The mashed potatoes and gravy were quite tasty, though. The amount of seasonal vegetables was tiny. Chocolate lava cake dessert was okay. For a golf course clubhouse the decor is fine.

Charcuterie, wine, a view, great service, and a window that opened for a little breeze. Best experience I could have asked for this afternoon. Oh, and bonus points for the silverware that didn’t feel like it came from a dining hall. #itsthelittlethings.

Review is of the Grill at the golf course. Brianna was our server, and was excellent and delightful. We relaxed in their dining room which has huge windows with beautiful views. I had the Greek gyro with a side salad instead of fries. It was delicious, and not too big. They forgot the taziki sauce, but Brianna ran back to get it right away. My husband had the pork tenderloin and fries. I thought the fries were really good even though I subbed mine for a salad! Margaritas were generous and great flavor...when I looked at the bill, those were only $10. Great place to have a relaxing lunch, super clean, a fireplace for cold days!! It is located at the entrance to Grand Elk Golf Course and pro shop!
