Mavericks Grille is everything you want in a mountain restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and perfectly fits the setting, making it an ideal spot to relax after a day outside. The green chili is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, tender, and clearly high quality, with portion sizes that are generous and satisfying. On top of the amazing food, the service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Mavericks Grille is a must stop and easily one of the best meals we’ve had in the mountains.

This local restaurant is a real gem. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care, and the green chili is outstanding—rich, comforting, and packed with just the right amount of heat. What really made the experience special, though, was the service. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people—we'll definitely be coming back.

This place needs a refresh or clean up ....no video games work ....fish tank about dead..chairs very very worn.. .jist doesnt seem like they care. ...we went tonight and they were completely overwhelmed....food was ok ...but we ordered a turkey sandwich and it came out ham....think there's some.mix ups in the name of that sandwich. Even been going here for years ..seen it in its heyday...its definitely down right now ..for the price ..service ..organization and cleanliness needs a bump... ....Hopefully they can get it up and rocking again!! Hoping to be back

The service was great but unfortunately the chicken fried steak was not edible. It was very chewy and a lot of fat... Definitely not worth the $26.00 I paid for it.

Great food. Great staff. Great dining room. All our food was prepared correctly - and was really top notch. Meatloaf is amazing... and I usually hate meatloaf. Tried a bit from a friend and will get that next time. Server/host was going at a blazing pace... and did not mess up ANYTHING.

We came in for Tuesday night trivia and had a blast! The owners greeted us and they were so nice! We got a delicious batch of the fried pickles and shared a chicken fried steak. The portions were huge and the friendly staff had our plates out incredibly fast. This place is definitely worth visiting.
