When will Cables wake up and find a cook that puts his heart into his fixings? For years now it seems that the food has gone down especially some of the great appetizers. Some of the apps involving cheese and or other toppings have come out too melted and not tasty. These apps cost very little to make and for 15 -18 the cost to Cables is meager. The price of some is higher than it should be, but regular customers suffer from the look and taste and will never send it back. Back sometimes results in 15-20 minutes. Pizzas are twice as long. PS violations of hair and nets, clothing etc could improve.

Service and atmosphere were great! Great portions of food, but no taste and very bland.
Same thing that happened to the Pug happened to most people from the looks of it
Awesome place for an early supper. The Stromboli was perfect.
Can't tell you how irritating it is for your favorite thing to be taken off the menu, when you know they have the ingredients anyway. The stuffed sopapilla was literally the only reason I went there. I have 4 or 5 buddies that say the same, and it's been gone for a while. I went back hoping they'd heard enough to bring it back, but nah.. The burnt crust pizza isn't good enough for me to darken the doorway again, tough day. Pray for me.
It look like my sub bread had mold. Had it taken back just for the cook to send it back saying he touched it with blue cheese. Didn't get a discount or anything. Their iced tea was sour from sitting as well.
Cable's is a favorite for us! The food is great, the homemade dressings are the best I've ever tasted, and the service is exceptional... Andrea and Joel are the best! I cannot say enough good things about this place!
Service.was slow waitress was in the back never checked on customers before disappearing

Last Saturday. [12/14/24] I had gone to that that location for lunch. There is a Mushroom marinara dish that they melt on with cheese. I don't like cheese so I asked for extra mushrooms. [Mushrooms are one of my most favorite foods.] The food was VERY good. I can not complain about anything . The waiter was so kind. Cables is definitely amazing. And I remember going theres several times when I was little about 9 or 10 years ago. Cables is an amazing for the entire family. Highly recommend! Thank you to the amazing Cables staff!
Vegetarian options: As a Vegetarian myself, the Mushroom marinara dish is out of this world. It's vegan as long as there's no cheese melted on it.

Ordered on DoorDash and didn’t receive what I ordered. Paid extra money for extra items in my calzone and didn’t receive it. Food was cold. Definitely won’t be ordering here again.
Server is very nice. Food is not good. Would not recommend
I understand inflation but I ordered a margarita and they crammed as much Ice in the cup as they could. I literally got 2 sips and it was gone. I asked for another one with less ice and was told I would be charged more money!!! Bad business, we left and went to a more reasonable business
This was our first time there (party of 2). It was a busy Friday World Series evening and the bar area was full, and many tables were full. We didn't have a reservation (not sure if they take them) but we were seated almost immediately. The host/hostess were very pleasant and helpful. Our server, like all the servers that evening, was very busy. She however let us know she was our server and that she would be with us in a few minutes right after we were seated. She indeed was with us in a few minutes, got us waters, and then took drink orders. Our drinks came promptly and she helped us with a few menu questions. After we decided what we wanted, she took our orders, checked drinks and kept us updated on our food till it arrived.
For food we started with the bruschetta which was really good. Better than most. We also had two pizzas - not what we originally planned on ordering but they looked so good that's what we decided to go with.
We got the traditional 12" thin crust, one with cheese, sausage, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. The other was the same crust but with cheese, sausage, capocolla ham, black olives, and mushrooms. The crust is indeed thin but with a nice crisp and chew, the sauce is tangy with good tomato flavor, not overly sweet, and they go edge to edge. Toppings were all good - good quality ingredients in the right amounts. Overall they were both very well done/made, tasty, and better than most pizza in the area. It would hold it's own against many east coast and Chicago pizzas as well.
Overall our dining experience was very good and the food was too. There is enough variety on the menu that it would accommodate most groups or families. I would have no problem bringing guests here for a good, fun, casual meal. I definitely recommend Cables Pub & Grill.
