i love this restaurant, i go quite often, but today when i went in (over an hour before closing), i had a bad experience :((( when ordering at the beginning of the line i asked for a smothered burrito, no side please! i didn’t want the lettuce or chips, and usually i don’t have any issues after communicating that to the first employee on the line. but after my burrito came out another employee put the lettuce on the side, and once i saw that i verbatim said “oops, im so sorry, can i please get that without the lettuce” and the employee looked at me rolled her eyes and snatched the lettuce out the dish, along with some white sauce 💔 and didn’t say a word to me, i still thanked her, but the attitude was insane. i work in fast food/service industry, and i have NEVER once experienced behavior like that in any restaurant i’ve been to or worked at. i came in on 6/16/2025 at around 7:50pm, and the worker was a bottom heavy white girl with medium length blonde hair. and once i was at the checkout i asked for a bit more white sauce because so much of it was snatched out with the lettuce that i could see more than 50% of the aluminum dish underneath was dry. and THEY CHARGED ME FOR “EXTRA” WHITE SAUCE. like please i just wanted what was originally on my burrito before it was taken off 💔 im so sad because i used to love this place but the employees turn me off from wanting to come back.

Unfortunately this place has been real hit or miss lately. They must be rationing the white sauce as I had the driest enchiladas ever made. The only saving grace was the rice is still decent.

I ordered for delivery on doordash. I got the chicken molido burrito covered in green chili. I asked for extra green chili. I did not receive extra green chili and my burrito was 90% rice and the chicken was tiny Itty bits, was not shredded. Honestly didn't even taste any chicken in the burrito. I had to dig through the burrito to even find the chicken. Highly disappointed. I also got the chips and queso. I will say the chips in queso was pretty good. But will not get it again considering the burrito is trash. If I wanted a rice and bean burrito I would have paid half the price for a rice and bean burrito... 😭

Added on December 31, 2024: I'm not sure I'll eat there again. The porch or balcony area outside had a lot of trash. The trash can was full and trash was scattered about. When I went inside, employees were in the kitchen on their phones. It seems like taking a few minutes and cleaning up the outside area would be time well spent. If the front door is not welcoming and clean, it's hard for me to trust the cleanliness of the kitchen and that is a big turn off. Maybe I'll give it one more try.

The food was delicious and quite filling, the staff were great and working hard on a busy evening. Great decor, very clean. I wish I could end it there and give it 5 stars, but I found a strand of hair underneath my burrito. Other than that, it's a good place to eat with family and friends.

"Hello :)!", Which should've been what the employees said to me. Instead I got attitude. I'm giving this place a one star because it has not been the first time the employees have been disrespectful to me. But this night 12/12/24 takes the cake for worst service I've ever had. I walked in and was not greeted at all. The blonde girl behind the counter at first ignored me, but maybe she was busy which is fine. Anyway, I ordered my inside out burrito which she aggressively put together and when she was done chucked in the little oven they use to heat up the cheese. This might've been my mistake but, I told her that I wanted another inside out burrito the exact same as the one I just ordered. She proceeded to respond with "alright is this the last one im making exactly like the other one?" (Very annoyed sounding). I was taken by surprise and replied "yeah...". When she was done with that inside out burrito she also chucked it in the oven (it jumped a little and some cheese and food spilt over). I then walked over to the cashier and told him "she was very rude". He ignored me and asked "what did you have" i replied an inside out burrito and repeated "she was very rude" ignored me again and asked "what kinda meat"...."chicken." I said a THIRD TIME! "SHE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME" ignored..."what else". I said "I'm not paying for this." And left. At no moment was I rude to either of them. I said hello I explained my order calmly, I didn't even yell or make a scene at the end. BTW there was no reason to try to rush me out of there there was no huge line. I checked just to make sure I wasn't holding it up. The cashier was a tall brown haired guy and the girl was a blonde one with what I think is a neck tattoo? The were both working around 7 or 8ish pm on 12/12.

I am not giving 2 stars for the food, because the food is always good. It is for the service. The staff is consistently very unfriendly and rude. Especially the female workers. They couldn't act any less thrilled to be there. No smile, no eye contact, no hi how are you, eye rolls when customers were coming in. I understand it might not be the best job but c'mon basic friendly customer service shouldn't be too much to ask for.
