I discovered Daruma in 2019 and have been getting the three role combo ever since. The price has gone up, but what hasn’t in this world. The three roll combo used to be $10.99 and it is now $14. Which I believe for three rolls is still a really amazing deal!
I really wanted to like Daruma, but wow. What a disappointment. I only stopped by because my usual boba spot was closed, and I honestly wish I hadn't. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, just something decent. They couldn't even manage that.
The drink was super watered down, the boba was flavorless and kind of rubbery, and it was packed with giant ice chunks. For six bucks, they couldn't even bother to make it a smoothie or blend it properly?...
