Got the chicken katsu and my wife had shrimp tempura, food was on point. Whole katsu plate was simple understated and couldn't be more perfect. Especially the rice, so good. The angry lobster roll we ordered was a little unconventional in its presentation but it was very good. I discovered Daruma in 2019 and have been getting the three role combo ever since. The price has gone up, but what hasn’t in this world. The three roll combo used to be $10.99 and it is now $14. Which I believe for three rolls is still a really amazing deal!
I really wanted to like Daruma, but wow. What a disappointment. I only stopped by because my usual boba spot was closed, and I honestly wish I hadn't. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, just something decent. They couldn't even manage that.
