Visiting friends in Greeley,CO & they took us to Fat Alberts for an evening out. We were not sure about a restaurant with this as a name but trusted friends. All I can say now is what an "awesome" place. It is "themed" as an "Irish Pub" and has a very festive "atmosphere" both inside and on the "lighted, heated, shaded patio, with everything St. Patrick in a very classy way. And the food was very very good. My wife & I both had the "French Hen" (chicken) sandwich with a wonderful "Hollandaise" sauce with a salad. The taste was amazing & very filling. Lastly service was great too as the waiter was proudly wearing a "42 in 24" Fat Albert's shirt for their 42 years in business...and I now can see why. Highly recommended for the whe family.?
Kid-friendliness: There was a young family near our table & the kids were loving all if the decorations as well as the kids food menu!

First visit. Will come back.
Best coconut cream pie that I have had in over ten years. I would have rated the food at five stars but my burger came well done instead of medium as I ordered.

I prefer onion rings not so heavily breaded. Good onions. Meatloaf was a little dry but great flavor. Husband's hamburger was overcooked. Cherry pie was great.

Nothing much to rave about. We tried quite a few bits of food, and it all came out a bit tepid, and not seasoned well. I know a lot of people rave about this place, but I think its hold over nostalgia. Nice people though!

Waitress was very responsive. We love the many different meals there. Pretty quiet place to be able to have a nice dinner and hear each other. Prices are fair

So, a good friend took me to try their Monte Cristo and peanut butter pie. Both were incredible, so the goal was definitely worth it. We also ordered the bbq ranch bacon cheddar burger, and it was okay. I would like to try their reuben next time. The service made the experience delightful. The staff were personable and friendly, which made the experience commendable. Visit it is a little treat. The atmosphere is a little dated, but quaint so no negative judgement there. If you are in NoCo go try it, the pie and monte cristo is worth it.
