The coffee is decent and mad cheap, the place is wonderful for that, but the Ayn Rand inspired name is what makes me go to Margie's instead. I see other reviews mentioning that the owner is a difficult person, which doesn't surprise me. Randians are just kind of like that.

Great coffee. Been here several times already and never been disappointed with the coffee making ability of the staff. My coffee consistently taste wonderful.
I also love the space. It looks like an old firehouse that is converted into a cafe. There is also what looks like a music hall or event place at the back.
I've been coming back here since arriving in town and should try other place but the coffee and atmosphere seem to invite each time again.

I like the vibe of John Galt and it’s nice it’s usually on the quieter side for coffee shops which makes it easier to study. It’s just wild that they charge $4 for each tea bag and $1 for honey. I think the prices are a bit of out touch on certain items.

My daughter and her friends rented the venue for their graduation party. It was really beautiful and convenient! we were able to add some decorations, but even without them, the walls have some lovely and chic woodwork and the room was clean and spacious. We brought our own food in, but we also purchased a latte and it was great.
