Meeker’s: A Colorado Kitchen & Bar
This was our second visit to Meeker’s before heading to a show at Union Colony, and it definitely had a different energy this time around. The place was packed since the Broncos AFC Championship game was on, so it was buzzing and loud in that lively, game-day kind of way.
We were met with a bit of attitude from the bartender, which was understandable given how slammed he was—but still not the warmest welcome. That said, once the food arrived, any irritation quickly disappeared.
The food was absolutely worth it. Everything was rich, comforting, and well-executed—clearly made with care. The steak bites were tender and flavorful, the mashed potatoes were smooth and indulgent, and the braised short rib dish was a standout. Total treat food, the kind you look forward to before a night out.
Atmosphere-wise, Meeker’s is fun and energetic, especially on game days. It’s a great spot to grab a solid meal and drinks before a show, even when it’s busy.
We’ll definitely be back—hopefully on a slightly calmer night—but either way, the food alone makes it worth the stop.

Our server, Oneida, was not good. She had no idea what the soup of the day was. She somehow didn't notice that the kitchen missed our order completely. It took 45 minutes to get a cup of soup, a salad, and salmon. Yes, the kitchen staff messed up. Badly. But Oneida somehow didn't notice that she'd served the people who ordered after us.

The bartender, Rosario, and a different server, Griffin, were extremely apologetic and kind. Oneida needs to learn from them!

Our entire bill was comped, which was very kind. Griffin even encouraged me to write a review in order to help management understand their problems.

The food was good.

Service was terrible and we almost missed our show. Were there for almost 2 hours! Food was good though.

Lunch specials (burger, chicken strips) were great!! AND included hand cut fries, a yummy salad and a yummy cookie! Brussel sprouts were FABULOUS --- crispy, blue cheese and bacon! Watched football on all the big screens, too...great environment! Naomi was a wonderful and attentive server! We'll be back!

I've tried so hard to like Meekers. I thought when they got new management but I was wrong. Our server, Griffin, great! The food is awful. Undercooked risotto, runny & bland mac and cheese, raw Green beans.. it was just bad. I watched several dishes go back, including someone's Salmon that was undercooked! Go to Austin's, it's way better!

Thanksgiving buffet was very nice, good selection, food could have been a little warmer. What really made the experience special was the service. Kelly took care of everything. The atmosphere was great, the noise level made it possible to carry on a conversation. Thank you for a wonderful experience

It was such a pleasure to have Nicole as a server. Great service, which is so rare these days.

Always enjoy dining at Meekers! Bison meatballs and Truffle fries were perfect for a Saturday brunch. And did I mention Vincent makes a mean Pearl of the Plains?

Sat at the bar for ten minutes without seeing a server just for them to show and say that they don't server food from the main menu at happy hour.

It was our first time. Came on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy at all. That didn't stop the service from being wonderful! (Usually, when a restaurant is slow, the service slows down too. That wasn't the case for our experience.)

When we walked in it was a tad confusing at first. I think it's because we came in the restaurant entrance, not the hotel one. I had to talk to a bunch of servers gathered at the end of the bar at the other side of the restaurant to ask if we should just sit, or wait for them? They motioned us to sit. We got a spot by the window which was nice. There was a screen to pull when the sun got in our eyes, which was really good!

Our server was Marquis, he was great. I got an omelet and my husband got the breakfast borrito. The food was all very good and tasted fresh. The buffet was tempting, as it's a full breakfast for a flat price.

I did use the restroom which was very clean and well kept.

Overall it was a great experience and we look forward to trying the lunch menu!
