Wow, wow, and... wow! Ordered the vegetarian platter for carry out. The meal was a very large in size, enough to feed two people. The dish was fresh and contained flavorful ingredients, providing a rewarding culinary experience. Would have uploaded a photo, however, the plate was empty before the opportunity arose. Looking forward to enjoying various menu items as I will be a returning customer. Thank you, Tawakal East African Restaurant.
Amazing customer service and they were great at offering recommendations since I'venot been in prior to this visit.Highly recommend trying their Passion fruit juice or Chai Tea to drink. The juice is still sweet yet refreshing. Family run, spoke with one of the daughters who works with her sister and mother here. It was amazing, I was here for a group event with teenagers and we showed up with about 20 people so things took a little longer, HOWEVER it was TOTALLY worth the wait! On my way to the restroom, I noticed that it was two women cooking on a four burner gas stove and the food that came out of that kitchen with what they were working on was AMAZING!
