I went here tonight and ordered ma po tofu which I’ve had many times and love. I started eating it and realized it tasted like some type of cleaning chemical. My mouth started tingling so I tried to drink water to wash it down and the water tasted briny from whatever chemical was left in my mouth. It took hours for the strange taste and sensation to go away. I smelled the food and could smell the chemical in it. I couldn’t take more than a bite and reported it back to the waitress. They claimed it was just spicy and wouldn’t remove it from my bill. Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Yuck!

This was our first time visiting this place, which is located in a nice plaza area filled with restaurants and offices. The atmosphere was casual, and there was an open window in the kitchen, allowing us to see the chef cooking from our seats. The space is not very large, but it is clean and bright. The menu was quite simple.

For the appetizer, we ordered:
1. Wonton soup (6 pieces) - The soup looked different from what was described on the menu. Instead of a clear broth, it came with seaweed. While the flavor was good, we would have preferred it in a clear broth. The wontons themselves were delicious, and we would have enjoyed the dish even more with the clear broth.
2. Scallop & Shrimp Dumplings (6 pieces) - The meat in these dumplings was very flavorful and did not disappoint. Be sure to dip them in a mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil if you enjoy a bit of spice!
3. Bryan’s Xiao Long Bao (8 pieces) - We ordered this dumpling because it was intriguing, featuring eight different flavors. You can see all the flavors in the pictures. However, we didn’t particularly enjoy it and still prefer the traditional dumplings.

For the entrees, we ordered:

1. Stir-Fried Green Beans with Ground Pork and Garlic - The chef cooked this dish perfectly! The green beans were flash-fried, retaining their crunchy texture, and were seasoned just right. It was delicious, and we loved it!

2. Mapo Tofu with Pork - Once again, the mapo tofu did not disappoint. It was well-seasoned and balanced; while it wasn't overly spicy, you could definitely feel the numbing sensation from the Szechuan peppercorns.

3. Tan-Tan Noodles - The noodles were cooked perfectly—neither too soggy nor undercooked. However, we weren't fans of the peanut sauce on top. If you enjoy peanut sauce, though, you'll probably love this dish! The ground pork had great flavor and complemented the noodles well.

The service was adequate, we didn’t receive attentive service during our meal, but the food made up for it.

Overall, the food is delicious, and if you enjoy dumplings and Xiao Long Bao, this place is highly recommended!

I was treated like a pariah when I came in to pick up my to-go order. The woman didn’t speak more than one word to me (“Yes?” When she saw me) and acted as though I’d offended her in some way. She handed me my food and I told her thanks so much, to have a good day. She just turned and walked away from me, seeming annoyed. Oh, and I tipped 20% on the order, probably close to $15 for how expensive the order was. The food was fine but not worth feeling like trash by the staff.

Delicious and from someone who is always watching what she eats: healthy options available!!!

Great dumplings!

It looks and feels like a fast food restaurant, but this is a sit down restaurant with prices to match (high for fast food, normal for full service)

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written but the food here was beyond horrible. The shumai is the frozen package kind, our dumplings tasted like soap, the fried rice was mediocre at best. We spent $100 and ended up throwing away 80% of the food. Service and atmosphere was ok but the food is by far the worst Asian food we’ve ever eaten… and I’m half Japanese.

Food was spectacular, service was excellent, and atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We couldn’t stop ordering food! BBQ Pork Buns were so good!

Obsessed with this spot!!! Was visiting Denver for a few days and this was the best food we had during our whole trip. Very friendly and quick service. Great selection and everything we got was outstanding!!

This place has potential but for the price what you get is almost not worth it. The food is great but when I go to a restaurant and pay nearly $20 for Kung pao chicken, I am expecting to walk away full. It barely filled the place and rice, which should come with the dish free, was extra. Everything seems to be made there fresh so that's a plus. The service and delivery of food is disorganized I feel, tickets are taped to the wall and then food is brought out without any knowledge of whom it goes to.

Comfortable and casual atmosphere with plenty of seating. Service was impeccable and food did not disappoint. We tried the rainbow dumpling platter as it provided a variety of different creative dumplings to try!
