Crispy, flavorful cheese wontons, tasty spring rolls, and amazing pho with fresh beef. I’ll be back for sure!

Updating my review as of October 2025 to say that Pho Saigon is my favorite place to eat Pho. I also want to mention that the Com Dac Biet is very good.

-------
The best Vietnamese Pho restaurant this side of Federal.

Highly recommend.

Out of all of the Pho restaurants in the area this one is clearly the worst. I have consistently avoided this place over the years as I had poor experiences in the past, but came back as I keep hearing people rave about it. I have been reminded why I avoid it. I don’t know why people like it and it is certainly not deserving of a 4.2 star rating.

The service is terrible, and I mean terrible. People waiting confused at the front not being greeted, others sitting for 15 minutes without a menu.

The atmosphere is even worse. Very awkward and tense. No music. supplies strewn about everywhere. Nobody seems happy to be here. Bathrooms are gross.

The pho is not good. Bland and stale. The wontons we had were good, but not better than anywhere else.

Below average food and very poor service/experience.

I recommend you try any of the other fantastic pho restaurants in the area. This place was busy compared to others I frequent and it should not be that way.

This place has gone downhill...

If you are looking for good Vietnamese food go elsewhere. Today was the first full rainy day. A hot flavorful Pho sounded perfect. Unfortunately, front of the house was struggling bad. Plenty of tables not cleaned off, no greeting even when there are groups of people waiting by the door. My friend and I saw multiple people walk out. Inconsistent front of house. No greeting at all for 10 minutes. Some customers would get the veggie plate that comes with pho; others like mine didn't. Had to request that and sauce plates. Tables that ordered after my friend and I got their food before us. Thus showing back of the house was struggling as well. Multiple leaks from the ceiling from the half of the restaurant we were sat in. To-go orders seemed to be more important than the customers in the restaurant. Appetizer plate just seemed poorly put together. Pho broth just tasted like white pepper. No beef flavor or it was just drowned out by a white pepper taste. Noodles were in a clump in the soup. Had to use chopsticks to separate and loosen them up. By the time it was for the first bite the broth was barely hot anymore. Disappointing broth because of a heavy white pepper taste with every bite, and protein was barely okay. End of the day the explanation was the were busy. This isn't their first day or first month open they have been there a while. Would not recommend after this experience.

PS. This is the first time I've ever not wanted to finish my pho. The best thing was the artificial flavored drink... just because as well... Where's the cilantro in the soup and bean sprouts on the side veggie plate?!?

This place is pretty solid on the basic Viet dishes; but notably absent is MINT, a staple of certain dishes in the cuisine.

It’s a curious phenomenon in Denver metro Vietnamese restaurants - specifically outside the SoFed area - they’re oddly unmotivated to keep mint in the kitchen, which is not only lazy, but also a little bit insulting to suburban diners, as though we wouldn’t know or care. We do! Get some mint please- some dishes just aren’t the same without it!

Cảm ơn
