Visited Ted's after visiting Uptown Circus next door. To be fair, a larggggge group was dining here at the same time. Our server was inattentive and distracted. She did recommend the bison nachos. Great recommendation. We also ordered the fish sandwich and salmon. The two fish sandwiches lacked flavor. The salmon could have been prepared by Safeway's prepared food section. The mashed potatoes are super boring and bland as Bobby Blue. The nachos were the highlight of the evening. Our server offered us a free dessert due to the lack of service provided to us. We selected the blueberry lemon cookie but left it at the restaurant. It was not our cup of cookie. Perhaps it just wasn't a good evening for Ted. But it's kinda pricy not to enjoy 3 meals.

Ordered cod fish sandwich. Don't do it. More breading than fish. We've always loved teds! NO MORE. Hope it improves.

New review: after being contacted by the manager at this location we stopped in again. This time my family opted for burgers, which were delicious! Cooked to perfection, rare of course, and well seasoned. We tried the Ted’s Bacon Cheeseburger, delicious, and the Avalon. The Avalon was so unique with the Gruyère and onions. Service and atmosphere were great, just like before. We really appreciate the restaurant making our experience right.

Old review: There was nothing wrong with the food, but it’s decidedly for a geriatric palate, with very little seasoning. The meat, a bison ribeye, bison short ribs, and bison burger, was all cooked to perfection but in dire need of salt and flavor. The chili and salad good enough to pass. The sides were bland, the carrots tasted of nothingness, the asparagus was only about 10 stalks, and the potatoes mild. Dessert was quite rich in comparison, the seasonal crumble made to order, but as my friend put it the coffee tasted like, “pinto bean water.” Unfortunately we probably won’t be returning.

Had lunch at Ted’s Montana Grill - place was really quiet, but food was good and service was excellent. Highly recommend the Bison burger (my favorite is the mushroom and Swiss), onion rings, and complimentary pickles. Sodas come with crushed bullet ice - excellent. Great option for high end burger. Wish there were more locations.

Got a rare burger. They took it back and brought another rare burger. Manager said it was cooked a perfect medium.

Unfortunately, I had an experience with my family and boyfriend here that was memorable in a bad way. After our food came over cold, the manager genuinely did not speak. She came up to the table, and just took one of the plates away without saying a word — I’ve never seen anything like it before. She had a crazy attitude too. The server was so apologetic, I felt terrible for her. I've worked in the food industry in Chicago before, and have seen quite a bit of questionable behavior, but nothing as terrible as this woman. She had dark hair and wore a bright blazer. Avoid this location if this manager is on shift — you'll know when you meet her!

I've been going to multiple Ted's locations over the past several decades, and this one is by far the worst. I had the misfortune of being served by Jackie during my recent visit, and it was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we sat down, Jackie seemed disinterested and rushed. She had to be flagged down and seemed to be ignoring our table. The food took an eternity to arrive, and when it finally did, they shorted our French fries and ketchup. The service was beyond disappointing and completely ruined our dining experience. What's interesting is that there are multiple similar reviews, and the management doesn't bother to change things. I won't be coming back anytime soon if this is the kind of service I can expect.

Was given raw salmon on one salad and instead of replacing the salad they decided to take it and cook it instead of replacing the salad. The other salad I ordered with grilled shrimp was really overcooked rubber shrimp. They offered us a cookie to make up for it!

Tatiana provided attentive friendly service. Food was great, had the Buffalo Swiss and Mushroom (good but would try something else next time - for more flavor). Chips and French onion dip was a hit at the table. Everyone enjoyed. Would eat there again for sure!

Went here for a business lunch, so I didn’t had enough time to try different things.
I had the Balsamic Blue Steak with Bison which was more expensive than beef and was somehow disappointed. I ordered it medium but got it well done, it was really good seasoned though, and I should’ve asked for the dressing on the side, it had too much.
Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food so maybe I’ll give it another shot in the future.

The other 1-star reviews do not lie, this place offered the worst service I've had in 6 years since I came to the US.

If you don't mind waiting forever for someone to take your order then this is your place, you might be tempted to go to the front desk to request some service, but you'll be lucky to find anyone there.

After waiting for 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order, I decided to chase her so we could pay for our drinks and go eat anywhere else.
