Thai Lotus Restaurant

Update: I see they are scheduled to reopen in February. Yay! I love Thai Lotus. I tried calling them today for a to-go order and got no answer. I drove there and the windows were papered over and there was a realtor key box hanging from the door. Did they move? No message on windows. Sign is still up on building.

A friend and I were in Denver for a meeting and discovered that we both enjoy Thai food. We found the nearest restaurant to the hotel we were in, and came to the Thai Lotus. What a delightful surprise! The food was plentiful and delicious. My friend had curry and I had filetof sole. The vegetables were fresh and cooked to al dente perfection. The service was accommodating, allowing us to have separate checks and to take home doggie bags. Definitely on the list of favorites!

All the reviews about the owner being mean are so weird, because the guy who serves us here is basically the nicest person ever - complete with the Thai wai. He checked in on us and made sure our food was good and waters were filled. That said, we ordered off the menu and had no special requests. Denver doesn't have much in the way of authentic Thai food.
