Loooooove 1880! Staff is always friendly, service is quick and the food options are amazing. Constantly new things on the menu. The griddle feta is OUT of this world, whether with peaches or apples, as are the bacon wrapped dates.

The food is good and vibe is somewhat modern. We shared the sliders and flatbread. Both were excellent and plenty to make a meal of. Service we received was inattentive, but others were getting great service. I was greatly ignored especially when seated in a spot directly with the sun in my face. I tolerated it but it really got irritating when our server figured it out when I was done eating and then pulled a shade. It seemed like sun hitting this spot would happen everyday and should have been something they watched for and pulled the blind everyday. Again felt like we were ignored. Maybe she was blinded by the light? We finished with the cheesecake and chocolate pot. Honestly thought they were not great and over priced. Cheesecake seemed to be more of a cake than cheesecake and flavor was off almost. The chocolate pot was chocolate with dried crunch bread slivers. Just seemed like nothing special. Overall, was not a horrible experience so I'll rate at 4 stars. It i was in a more cranky mood it would be much less. But, I've tried to look past the sun and server.

1880 is where I send anyone that I know heading to the valley. The food is incredible, the staff are so accommodating, and the vibes are 'cozy local fancy' in the best ways. 10/10 every time.

Get the Toro burger. Get the toro burger get the toro burger !! Genuinely maybe the best burger I’ve ever had. The manchego cheese is the most perfect pairing with the smash burger. The shredded iceberg makes it reminiscent of the boujeeiest Big Mac (in a good way). The crisp on the outter ring of the bun sent it over the top. Oh and their tapas are incredible, patatas bravas is always my go to!

Wow, fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about this place. My family was visiting the area and the only bad thing about this place is that it’s not open enough days haha (jk you guys deserve a break, I could just eat that squid ink pasta every day of my life!). The owner was there and was so sweet to us and our little one. Our waitress was equally as sweet and had really great recommendations. We had the flatbread, nettles and chèvre toast, squid ink pasta, grilled octopus, and burger. Plus desserts. Left way too full but it so worth it. Wish I was eating that squid ink pasta now, the hazelnut is a game changer. You guys are killing it. Easily best restaurant in Gunnison.

This little tapas bar was so cute and delicious! My husband and I went for a date night on Saturday and sat at the bar. The owner was behind the bar and was very friendly and helpful. I was worried there wasn’t going to be enough food for my husband but the portions were generous and we left stuffed.
Sounds Spanish but there are no real tapas like in Spain.

Food was hit or miss. Loved the stuffed dates and the 2 burgers. The potatos, corn dogs, fritata were just meh. The churro desert was not cooked on the inside. Maybe an off night for a few of things we ordered. The service and atmosphere were outstanding.

Far and away the best restaurant in Gunnison. Absolutely everything on the menu is phenomenal, the drinks are all great, and the service is always stellar. Tapas may be intimidating at first, but trust this random person on the Internet when they say you will not be disappointed.
