Far and away the best restaurant in Gunnison. Absolutely everything on the menu is phenomenal, the drinks are all great, and the service is always stellar. Tapas may be intimidating at first, but trust this random person on the Internet when they say you will not be disappointed.
We had an amazing meal at 1880. Each plate was delicious. Flavors of each dish were so well thought out and prepared to perfection. I couldn’t pick a favorite until we got the banana pudding. Our server Courtney was delightful.
They made individual menus for two very specific allergies we had at our table. They marked everything that could be altered or was free of the allergens for our party and were extremely accommodating.
And the food quality was amazing! Fresh ingredients and a knowledgeable staff made for an amazing and informative dining experience. One of the employees is a farmer that really knows his stuff and provides for the restaurant. Whenever we come back to see family and friends...
