Great food! I haven’t had an authentic chili relleno since moving to Denver, but ALL of their food was spot on! Their plates were a little smaller than I’m used to, but more than enough to fill me up. Ordered a house margarita and it was great sized and super strong! Small spot, so you may have to wait a bit, but it was worth it. Over all a GREAT family owned and run spot!

Found this gem on the way to Crested Butt and was glad we did. Read g the reviews on yelp everything looked great. Only negative was slow service because it is a Ma and Pop place. The place has a yellow front entrance as wide as one parking spot. We were lucky and got star parking right in front. When we entered we were surprised because it was larger than appeared, with tables and bar is a ling room.We were greeted with a smile and seated at a table in the back. The server provided menus and water. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time and everything came in a reasonable time with drinks first. We ordered a large and small margarita’s. The large was large :-)Chips and salsa were on point and tasted authentic. We ordered the pork tamale and beef enchiladas and taco cheese combo. Being from San Diego i know my mexican food. Ine if the best tameles i have every tasted. The beef in the taco and enchiladas tasted like moms slow cooked roast beef with a mexi seasoningFood was amazing, service was quick and good. Parking is street, you may get lucky like I did right in front. We were there on a Monday 1:30 pm. Tables were available. Check out the menu in the pictures, lots of options.Love this place!

Hands down, the best Mexican food I've had since moving from Texas to Colorado 5 years ago. I've tried a lot of places between Gunnison and Montrose, and this is the only place I'll spend money on Mexican food. The other places are fine for appetizers or drinks... but when I'm craving good Mexican food, best believe I'm coming here! The tacos and enchiladas are delicious. My husband loves their burritos. The chips and salsa aren't the best, but the food is and it's a worthy trade-off!The place is small (which we like), but if you end up seated in the back close to a loud group, your experience might be lacking atmosphere, but that would be the case anywhere.

Seriously, one of the best margaritas I've had in a long time. The chips and salsa are good and the queso was really excellent. Each of the three of us enjoyed what we ordered (chicken burrito, chicken, chimichanga, and a combo plate). If you're into mole, their sauce is particularly sweet so order at your own risk! I liked it more than my wife did, but I recommend seeing if you can taste it before ordering a dish with it. Otherwise, everything was just really good Mexican food!

This place is small and fills quickly. We went in at about 530 on a Saturday and waited for a table for four for only about 20 minutes. Our waitress was quick, kind and had a great memory. She was getting all the tables orders without writing anything down and not missing a beat. The food and margaritas were delicious. My husband said he would drive an extra 60 miles just to have the beef burrito.

Great food, bad waitress! Our friends took us there and told us it had great food, and they didn’t lie.Their salsa was on point and the food was really good. The only problem was the waitress, she was rude, acted like she was in a rush, and is understandable but a least she could have tried to take our kids drink orders. I Ask questions about what she recommended and her answer was ignorant and not helpful at all.
