Tried this based on the pictures of their food, I was very unimpressed on all levels. I guess I'm spoiled a little to the fact when I go get food, I want it hot and ready to eat, not to have to go home to "warm it up"
This food truck is outrageous. The menu is eclectic and simple, all made from scratch. I decided against my normal judgment to get biscuits and gravy and fried chicken for hopefully a big mountain bike ride. Two good, just too good.
Great find! Stopped by here while camping in the area. I'm with my pups so an outdoor seating area at a food truck sounded perfect. They have a nice sized patio area with about 7 spaced out tables and a couple of chairs for the to go orders. There is a huge pine tree for shade as well.Simple menu written on a chalk board because it varies daily. The prices seem appropriate for a quality food truck and for the area as well. I was already debating the Philly or the shrimp poboy depending on what they had and it turned out to be the poboy. Order didn't take long and then my huge sandwich arrived. It came with a small bag of chips, but the sandwich itself is huge and loaded. The sandwich is on a soft hogie rather than the traditional french type of bread, but it's delicious and fresh . The shrimp (plump, perfectly cooked and plenty) is in a kind of dark cajun remoulade mixed with bacon and sauteed onions with multi colored bell peppers. Oh, and it has lettuce so you don't feel bad about eating it all in one sitting! :) Overall, I loved it! Bursting with flavor in every bite! Felt more like a Cajun shrimp Philly minus the cheese. Only if I was to be the one to name it of course! There is no such thing as a shrimp Philly though...yet! Oh, and ask for a fork or to have them cut it in half or you will be using way more napkins than necessary! ;-)Met Kevin, ones of the owners and he was very nice and easy to talk to. Nice place to stop if you are passing through or if you are a local, what are you waiting for!? Try them out before they go on their winter vacation! :) Or just make sure you try them out when you get a chance. They'll be back. I hope!
Burnell's catered our wedding and they were fantastic! The food was wonderful, all our guests loved it, and they were priced right. They were so great to work with, even through a postponement due to Covid. We couldn't be happier with choosing Burnell's!
Epic fried chicken sando! Highly recommended on all accounts
Delicious, fast, quality food! Friendly, fun atmosphere. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the philly special. Both were excellent. The service is phenomenal & speedy.
Great food and atmosphere, mostly the people that went with are the best!
Love this fresh food and the crew
Five stars Way Beyond all expectations!
Great food! Very nice people. Fresh produce and great recipes. I've had the biscuit and gravy, with spicy elk sausage. It is a must try. Also the stuffed French toast.
