Food was excellent and the brews and cocktails were very good! Awesome atmosphere and vibes
Great beer, and the pizza was excellent, and quick! Will come back and drink pizza and eat beer again
We were let down by our visit here. The food looks great on the website. However, the mountaineer pizza was burned. It was pricey so we ate it. The Caesar salad with chicken was flavorful but the meat was cold (not hot were used to it being served). The sandwiches were good. The chicken came shredded - again, just not how we’re used to it. The pretzel was small for the price. (Edit to add that they were comparing it to the AMC Bavarian pretzel)
The water in the metal cups tasted weird. Since we thought it might be the metal cups, we didn’t order soda or lemonade. The ‘Green Gate’ beer was very good.
There was only one server in the whole place and he did an ok job. My impression is that it’s a brewery that serves expensive food. And if you’re going to have a wood fired pizza oven, you NEED to know how to use it. Burned or undercooked doesn’t work for me when I’m spending $26 for an 11” pizza. (*Edit to add: We owned pizza restaurants for years in Indiana. No matter how you are cooking it, you shouldn’t serve it when it’s BLACK on the bottom. And, I did do an internet search Scott - thanks for the advice!)
The atmosphere is a cool vibe tho. (Edit to add: my husband had been wanting to go there all week to try the beer so he was happy he got to do that. And everywhere we ate that week was expensive I’ll agree with that part for sure)
The best! Great beer, service, vibe…
Underwhelmed. Reasonable beers but uninspiring food. Would use as a backstop.
We went there not only because it’s a brewery, but because somebody said on a review, they had the best gluten-free pizza. Fire oven! Well, The review was right the gluten-free pizza was amazing. The price for the pizza not as amazing. I got a gluten-free crust, two kinds of cheeses, figs, and basil. It was $32. The non-alcoholic hibiscus sour was amazing. It’s exactly what you need when you don’t want to drink. It was sweet and sour.. I also had the beet salad. The beer was great too!
Absolutely refused to acknowledge our existence. We went in at 9:10 to ask if the kitchen was still open. Bartender pretended we didn’t exist. Ffs I just wanted to know if they were open!
I've been to High Alpine Brewing Company twice now, and my impressions haven't changed much. The first time, I ordered the "High Alpine" pizza, which came out overcooked with the crust burnt throughout, though the flavors were decent. My wife ordered the Beet and Goat Cheese salad with lemon champagne vinaigrette, which she absolutely loved. In fact, she ordered the same salad during our second visit!
On that second visit, my wife and I sat on the second-level deck. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it was quiet enough for conversation. However, the space is small--great for up to 4 people, but not ideal for larger groups. Larger groups would be more comfortable on the first floor.
We started with the hummus appetizer, which was fantastic. It came with olives on top and an assortment of sides, including garlic bread, red peppers, carrots, and cucumbers. The garlic bread, in particular, was amazing!
For my main dish, I tried "The Mountaineer" pizza. Unfortunately, it arrived at room temperature. The crust retained some heat, but the meat was cool, and the cheese lacked any pull. While the flavors were okay, the temperature was a letdown. My wife's salad, as always, was excellent.
As for pricing, I find it a bit steep. An 11-inch specialty pizza runs from the low to high $20s, and drinks are charged per refill. The menu is limited, offering just a couple of sandwiches, brats, salads, and pizzas. Service was about what you'd expect--nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall, I'd rate this place as average, but since my wife loves the salad so much, it earns an extra point.
Great brews and excellent service!
Extremely overpriced for the amount of food and the food quality. Terrible food and also, terrible service. The waitress never came to check in on us. If she did, we would express what were wrong with our meals. Never again.

No explanation needed. I've read enough 1 star reviews to see that there is an excuse for everything. Basically, it's the same problems everyone else complained about. Cheers.
We visited twice... tonight and last night. Left waiting at door both nights while staff walked around, talked to one another. Tonight we were finally seated on patio and left waiting without taking our order for 15 minutes. Both tables next to us received and drank their beers to 1/4 left for empty. At that point we left. Our server was training someone to be equally bad at the job and talking on the 1st floor.
Killer beer. Killer pizza.
Staff is wonderful. This is a busy restaurant that clearly takes time with their food to put out perfection. We will be back!
I had a great time here for my birthday. We sat on second floor after 7pm that welcomed us with a cool breeze. The beer flights and the pizza were excellent. The Pizza was fresh and delicious and beers were fun!!! For dessert, the beerimasu which is tiramisu was divine!!! I will return when I’m back in town.
Staff was excellent and attended to our needs including checking in on us several times. Our waitress also joined us in singing happy birthday to me. Thank you for a special night.
The owner is a great guy and I love how he handles the comments from the bullies that cause their own trouble on these reviews.
Amazing Pizza!
