Awesome space and atmosphere, very good BBQ, good beer. Friendly service. Just right!
Stopped by for dinner and a beer before a weekend of camping! Had the kolsch and the diavola pizza—left satisfied! The kolsch was refreshing and the pizza was the perfect size for 2! Great spot to hit in Gunnison.
My wife and I came here this last week for lunch. The pizza was delicious. We love the taste of wood fired pizza. The oven was stuck a cool design. The house brews were delicious. We bought a couple t-shirts too. Really awesome place to stop in for a beer or hang out for a delicious meal.
I eat here every time I visit town. That's five or six visits in the last year. The pizza is great every time. They make the best pretzel I've ever had also. I've only ever had the espresso stout and it's also extremely good. I have never left without being very satisfied with my visit. My wife and son were equally impressed.
Overall the food was good. I wish the pizza would have come to the table hot. The service is terrible, our waitress had the biggest attitude about having to serve us upstairs. I really enjoyed the beer but not enough to return.
Appetizer (burrata) & customer service was great. Beer was good. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was really dry and not flavorful, and ordered the antipasto salad, which was not an antipasto salad. It’s a lot of romaine with a few toppings, felt like a scam paying 18 dollars for that and expecting antipasto. The ratio of lettuce to toppings is way off for antipasto.
Edit to add a picture of the provolone cheese, which is clearly just pre-sliced cheese from like a Kroger package.
We ordered one $20 meatball sandwich, waited over 45 minutes, and were served a 4” roll with 2 small meatballs. It was tasty but ridiculously over priced.
Sarah did a great job
Went in early on a weeknight. Staff seemed to be actively avoiding greeting us so we just took a seat at the bar. The bartender was personable, but slow to interrupt his conversations to refill our beers. Condescending about whiskey offerings from local partners. Beer was great and the pizza was fantastic.
However, the unprofessional behavior of the some of the other staff put a serious damper on our experience. One employee in particular was bopping and stomping around, loudly socializing and sitting with her friends at the table directly behind us. We saw one of her friends in the open kitchen and hovering over the food expo area 😬
I get the struggles of staffing after my many years in restaurant management, but yikes…management just seemed oblivious to the juvenile antics going on by this staff member and her friends as the dining room started to fill up…I managed a brewpub so I get it being more laid back and casual than other restaurants, but this experience was disappointing because of this one silly, obnoxious employee and a lack of management…And I could tell her coworkers were not impressed with the situation either…we will be back for pizza and beer, but might just get it to go next time. This service experience was not typical of what we get in other establishments in town.
Incredible pizza, good beer and super service. Thanks!

Not dog friendly. Everything is great but not dog friendly as it states online
Ummm. Just ok food. Just ok service. Actually less than ok food.
Me and my family went to this restaurant. Food was excellent. The problem was the waitress told me the bill i gave her my card then she gave her self a 60 dollar tip. They said to add a tip you have to do it on the i pad. I was never given the I pad so the waitress gave her self a tip. I called and told them I was happy with leaving a 20 to 30 dollar tip but they couldn't do that unless I came back to the restaurant. So waitress ended up with no tip. Hopefully isolated event but watch out
The beer is good, the staff is friendly and the food looks great. Only had the beer so far.
High alpine is great their rotating drafts are always excellent although diversity could be better at times. Their pizza is probably their most notable. At times it's a bit underwhelming but their unique spin on pizza is always good. They have a wide range of flavors and toppings which is a plus.
Recently I expanded to trying their brats. While it was okay the flavor was overwhelmed with the house made mustard. I was happy with the quality but not as impressed with the brat itself. Their salad though was good. They have a great variety of leafy greens and their house made vinaigrettes (I assume they're house made) are really good. At times the price is a little bit more than what I would like to pay but they're consistent in quality
