Ask before automatically rounding up my change for a local charity. $1 charge for the carryout pizza box. Pizza was salty or had chorizo as sausage, never could figure out what the strange flavor was. We only ate half the pizza.

Service was very slow. It took a full hour to get our food. The soup was cold. They charge you for a mentor club and for gratuity. Check your receipts. We went for my daughter's 19th birthday and were very disappointed.

Me and a few guys came from out of town to eat here and the food was great. We got a deep dish pizza so always good. I will say however, I’m not sure if they understand what Chicago deep dish actually means. It was like a thick crust pizza instead of traditional, deep dish. It was still good though. We got a salad beforehand, and that was also really good. The only thing I will say is that our server was a little bit overwhelmed because of the lack of servers in the entire restaurant. I think this place could use a little bit of extra hands because all of them were running around like Queen of England was there. God rest her soul. Overall, not bad. If our server would’ve had a little bit more help and less tables this would totally be a five star review.

Every time we travel to Gunnison, to see family, we stop at Mario's for lunch. Their eclectic menu includes sandwiches, spaghetti, half and half salads, pizza, and specialty ravioli pastas. Build your own pasta is especially fun because you can mix and match sauces, pastas, meats and veggies!
The pizza is to die for as is the homemade fochi bread. Dipping sauces include marinara and ranch.
We like to get the half and half which is half a green salad and half pasta with lettuce, tomatoes, spiral pasta, black olives and pepperoni. They have three different sizes, small, medium and large.
Portions of everything are generous and they have a wonderful kids menu. The grands love the mac and cheese and it is served with a small slice of garlic bread.
Services consistently excellent and the staff kind and helpful! The bathrooms are spotlessly clean as is the rest of the restaurant.
We absolutely love Mario's Pizza and pasta and highly recommend it to everyone of all ages!

Ate dinner here and met expectations. Had a salad, pizza, pasta, and a cold beer. Good food, server was friendly and followed up several times. Got a large pizza and it would easily feed 3 adults, likely four. Pepperoni was really salty would be my only complaint. Minestrone soup was good. Everything was served hot and fresh.

Not sure if they are short staffed or just not inattentive to their customers. Stood around waiting for someone to take our payment and after she swiped the card and flipped the screen to sign, she walked away. Not to mention they had two doors open so we had shoo away a fly our whole meal. Definitely won’t be back and do not recommend.
We were passing by the town and found the place online. The food was extraordinarily good, so so yummy. Staff were so amazing and kind. And OMG the decor! I loved everything about this place.
