Best Coffee, best snacks, best ambience, and above all that, the best staff ever! Avalon & Westin - greet us by name, know what we like - and if we happened to be there at closing time, they send us off with a snack. I have yet to go there, take friends there, that all of the staff didn't greet us, welcome us, and send us off with a good bye. Fast, efficient, friendly! And, it's amazing how many old friends we meet up with who also love the positive vibe. It's the ONLY coffee shop I have ever become "attached" to in the Gunnison area. Hope to see you there! Hmmmm, it shows that I am from Grand Junction and won't let me correct it.....I am in/from Gunnison!

My husband and I stopped here and used the drive thru, looking for some breakfast and a coffee. The coffee was fine although I wish I had known that the macchiato are traditional style, meaning you get 1 or 2 oz of liquid, instead of expecting a full amount of coffee.The food was very disappointing. For a the style of coffee and their prices I expected the food quality to be better. I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which was served on a large hamburger roll and barely warm. My husband got a bacon burrito which was also pretty bad and about the size of a small taco.

Coffee was good but we were disappointed in their pastries. Chocolate muffin was not baked well, their beef burrito was also not well cooked and their hot chocolate was way too sweet.
