Ekahi should mean super Greedy in Hawaiian! $27 for 1 order fries, chicken & sauce is absolutely insane! A few months back I thought that $18 was expensive, now you up your prices and you're stingy. Yes, the food is good but you're skimping on almost all your ingredients, especially with your sauce that you charge $2 for a tiny side. You're prices just keep on increasing and the portions keep getting smaller. Lunch plates have gone from 3pm to 1pm so now theres only a 2 hour window for the one thing that is affordable. Half the time you dont even have it on your website so you have to order in person. More than willing to charge for a drink but half the time the fountain drinks are empty. To top it off, Thoren is creepy and mean. You used to be great Ekahi, think about the people in your community and do better!

I love Hawaiian food but the service wasn’t great. When I ordered I had just finished a long workout and was hungry. I got there and waited about ten minutes before the guy working even acknowledged my existence. By then several people had entered. Sounds like the owners need to do some analysis of when they get busy and staff the restaurant for peak hours. The guy wasn’t very friendly either. He definitely could use some customer service training.

Otherwise the food is good and the only food like it in the area.

Got a Maui Chicken Bowl at the Artisan Rhapsody event in Vail this past weekend. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the panko breading was crispy and light. The rice was perfect - neither sticky nor dry. And the sweet/tangy sauce, I could have eaten with a spoon. All of the ingredients of the bowl - rice, chicken and sauce were in excellent proportion to each other and the green onion garnish not only looked pretty against the golden chicken gave the bowl a pleasant, bright flavor pop. We bought one to share. Gobbled it up and immediately got another!

I grew up on Oahu and lived there for 22.5 years.. I have never had katsu that was so thin... And also why is the mac salad green??? Also ... For $21. Dollars... For a regular plate... That's a bit to expensive... Espically when the cutlet looks like someone went way overboard and smashed it so thin I wouldn't even feed it to my dog.
Oh and WHY does the katsu sauce taste like it's just low sodium soy sauce and barbecue sauce combined

Regular customer for years, always loved the volcano fries, even if they are overpriced. Spent $50 on 2 plates of french fries & chicken, specifically ordered one NO SAUCE for my daughter, who doesnt like the spicy mayo. Got there, they didn't follow the special instructions, and refused to fix my order or offer a refund. Terrible customer service, you have lost my business for good.

Teriyaki bowl was okay, pretty pricey for the full plate.

Used to be a favorite but the new location and reduced menu was not as impressive. Also the prices are really out of sync with what you get.

3 dollar discrepancy between what I paid when ordering at the front and what it costs through the qr code in their lobby. Paid $20+ after tip for a fountain drink and a half order of chicken katsu, which was a small breaded chicken, 1 sauce, and two small scoops of rice. Very disappointing.

Did not have the price of the meal on the menu. I did not see anywhere it saying “save 20% if you order online.” Deceptive business practice. Price gouging for mid food.
