I’ve traveled, quite a bit. This place definitely is the most toxic atmosphere,, food filth and service I’ve ever experienced. And don’t bother to use the bathrooms there. All 4 are are out of service. Just grab some coffee, friendly staff and snacks at the Badger Basin gas station down the road.
I’m not going to lie, I’m surprised by their positive reviews.
My recommendation is to stay away from the bartender. I don’t know her name, but she wasn’t friendly. I felt that if we were locals, she would have been friendlier. From the time my wife and I sat down to eat, until we left, I felt like my money didn’t matter. I’m a prideful person, but that day, I just needed food. Best little cafe. Their food is great. Their service is even better. Highly recommend. We come to CO from Texas every summer and we make it a point to eat here.
