We’re second home locals and have been big fans of Zuccaro’s since it opened three years ago. The pizza’s have a crust that’s superior to many urban pizzerias. The sandwiches are excellent and the real surprise is how good the spaghetti and marinara sauce is. Their homemade salad dressing and fresh greens are great. Tip: dipping the pillowy edges of the pizza crust into the dressing is delicious.
Zuccaro’s is family owned with well tested recipes. In summer there’s an outdoor patio with picnic tables and you’ll see everyone from tourists, to first responders, to cowboy’s in chaps.

This pizza place is easy to overlook as you are driving through Hartsel Colorado. It has only a small sign stating Zaccaro's kitchen with a couple of banners saying pizza. Hartsel is a tiny town and the buildings appear to be, how shall I say, rustic. PLEASE do not overlook this jewel. It has the best pizza that I have ever had. The service is excellent and the food can't be beat. There are both indoor and outdoor seating. We had cheesy bread, pasta salad and pizza. They use a neapolitan crust which is a thick and chewy type. If you are a crust lover look no further than Zaccaro's kitchen. There are several house specials at $22 each. We chose to have them make a 14 inch to fit our needs which was $20. the owners sat near us and told the story of the business. They are really nice people. If you are looking for a fancy upscale dining experience or a sports bar, this is not your place to go; however if you want great food with local flavor and are passing through the area, then you must stop here. I don't think that I could ever drive by without stopping. Parking is along side the road or by the fence. There are large RV campers, trucks and cars parked here when it's busy.

Wow, just wow! This place is a literal hole in the wall. The waitress used profanity the entire time & had stories that shouldn't have been told out loud! This was a pass thru for my family who were on vacation. We will not return. Pizza crust was very hard, flavorless and overcooked

Great little pizza place absolutely love it here 🥰 such a cute little place and love the people ❤️ we stopped in for our first time and everything and everyone was amazing 🥰
Pizzas were just a little better than okay... Prices seem to be based on having a captive clients base, not on having an excellent product.... $12.00 quality with a $20.00 price tag.... Only game in town, so if you want a pizza either go go there or do without!
