We had the best time..it was a busy Friday night and our food took forever. Not sure why, it just seems to be their way. Waitstaff should check in more often for more drinks. We would have had them. But, everything, everything was delicious. Barbara's carrot cake is sublime.

Loved the surprise location of Kennebec's...but they are rather snooty. We stopped by not in our best outfits as we had ridden the Durango/ Silverton Rails but waited to eat here as we saw it coming into Durango. The gentlemen offered us a place but the lady objected because of our attire( which was quite obvious) and quite discouraged our business...too bad I am sure the food is excellent I just have to grade...

My husband and I are pretty new to Durango (1year) and heard about Kennebec Cafe, so we made a reservation and it is definitely now our favorite restaurant in Durango. We sat in front of the fireplace our first visit, the menu was extremely diverse, the food was outstanding and our server Danielle made our evening memorable. We have since taken friends and family there for dinner who also loved the food as well as Danielle who we always request. Can’t wait now that it’s warm...
