Kiosk ordering (kind of confusing when we walked in) - seems all food is hand made - not all tables were cleaned/wiped off with not many people inside (after 1:30pm)

They ALWAYS mess up food orders! It’s maddening, especially when you ordered food to-go, then forget to check the order before leaving! Realizing after you’ve home that they left out several items that you paid EXTRA FOR! It’s happened 3 times in 2-months! We won’t be going back again! Which really sucks, because their food is really good! ?

We’ve been visiting Cafe Rio for MANY years and were surprised to see this location had replaced the traditional order as you go method for a kiosk for ordering. We figured we’d try it out anyway and were very unhappy with our experience. Some of our food items were wrong and we missed interacting with a real person. Please don’t open any more stores with ordering kiosks. It’s just sad.

I only wanted to give this review after going here multiple times. Every time we’ve gone (4 times total now) there has been something wrong. First time we came, our food took over 35 minutes. The next time we came they forgot multiple ingredients in our meals. The next time after that, we ordered inside and our names didn’t appear on the screen. It again took over 25 minutes to get our food. Love cafe Rio but really disappointed with our experience here.

Love their food! Unfortunately, this store only used kiosks to order. Miserable!! It added an extra entree. Was very confusing and poor design. Will never go to this store again!

An embarrassing display of not following directions. Ordered 2 nacho entrees that were customized through the official app. When I picked up the food, it was like they smashed the two orders together. Neither were even close to what we ordered. Tried to eat through it, even though it was incorrect, and the chips were a soggy disgusting mess. We also got a side of chips and tried to eat the slop of mud they call nachos as a dip, but the plain chips were painfully stale and rubbery. Uninstalled the app. Frankly embarrassed to have this pathetic excuse of food in my household right now.

This store sucks. Guy told me I couldnt use a coupon that I got in the mail from their marketing department. I thought that was crazy so I said check again, he inputted the code on the coupon, and wallah it worked! Imagine that. Then I get the burrito and they didnt give me any silverware. Then drove back to get silverware and it was a chicken burrito with two bites of chicken in it. Dont waste your time here. Store manager should be ashamed. The coupons will be going in the dumpster.

I wish there was ways to customize your order like the one in southglenn when ordering with real people. I’m really not a fan of the kiosks in restaurant? It feels like the inside of a Taco Bell minus the cheap food. For reference, two burritos is over $30. Additionally, every time I have gone my order was wrong. It’s not like the food is bad, it’s always good but the experience is just too strange for me. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

Drive through is a nice option, never seen that at a cafe rio before. Unfortunately I tried to go in bc I figured food allergies would be easier that way. Staff MIA, kiosk ordering (never a fan). Meh

This location is much better than the one closer to downtown Denver. Newer and very clean.

I don’t know if it’s a staffing issue or organization or what the problem is but the restaurant is crazy crazy crazy slow

I've been eating at Cafe Rio since 2003 and I'm really disappointed in the direction the new locations are going with the kiosks. Part of the Cafe Rio experience is ordering at the glass, talking to the employees, getting to request exactly how much cilantro you want. These new locations completely remove the human aspect of the experience. It feels cold and like Cafe Rio doesn't care about its customers, but rather that Cafe Rio's priority is money. Cafe Rio has always had the best employees who are cheerful and give excellent service. At the new kiosk locations, they don't even bother saying anything to me except calling my name when my order is ready, and by the time I get my food, they're gone, not bothering to wait half a minute for a courteous greeting. It's really sad and incredibly disappointing.
