I’d like to leave a review for the entire Desert Donuts team — but especially Connor Welker. Raise + promotion asap!!

Connor is one of the most dedicated employees I’ve come across. He genuinely cares about making sure every customer gets exactly what they ordered and has a great experience. He goes above and beyond. The other day, he even included a few fun, off-menu donuts with a handwritten note — an unexpected touch that absolutely made my day. I’ve lost close to 135 lbs in 12 months since my father’s passing, this place is the best. I order it literally every morning!!

The team works incredibly hard. The food is outstanding, but the people are even better. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about their customers.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Connor deserves a raise and a promotion. As an executive myself in business, I would hire him in a second.

Fun place! Awesomely creative, made fresh doughnuts that are the best I’ve ever tasted, and shakes, icecream…and even breakfast! Tell your friends. We are definitely coming again!!

This was one of the best service experiences I’ve had. The staff truly listened and showed that they cared. Having lived with severe celiac disease my entire life, I am extremely particular about where I eat. Connor went above and beyond!! He walked me through the step-by-step process they use to keep everything separate and prevent contamination. Including their separate fryers. He was incredibly thorough and clearly understood the seriousness of my allergy.

There was another gentleman working as well whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, but he was equally kind and helpful.

The donuts taste like cheap ingredient. The fillings go on top of a warm donut which then melts and goes everywhere. We tried a Bavarian cream, and it was literally cream inside of the donut hole. Obviously melted and fell off when donut was picked up.

They're incredibly overpriced, and I'm surprised how low quality they are for the price. Overall, it's a gimmicky donut shop with disappointing greasy donuts. The idea seems better than the actual execution. Apparently they are fried in beef tallow as well, which is absolutely disgusting and should be displayed somewhere.

What an unexpected find. This place is a hidden gem. Made to order fresh donuts, blue bell ice cream and friendly service. A place you should try.

My son and I always find a donut shop at the homes we live at that we make “our donut place.” We just moved here to Highlands Ranch and stumbled on Desert Donuts and it is by far our favorite donuts place so far. The warm made to order custom donuts are absolutely delicious and homey. The service is wonderful and they even have an employee who tosses the donuts into the icing and it is very entertaining to watch. 10/10 recommended.
