Chorizo breakfast tacos were awesome. That staff worked hard and my family appreciated their attentiveness. Great job!

It's rare that I leave a bad review but this has to be done. This was the worst arroz con leche I've ever had. Got it to go and it is basically a container of hot milk with some rice somewhere at the bottom that you can dig out with a spoon, but rice is bland and tastes like rice that dipped in hot milk.. because it was. Should probably mention that this was the third attempt at receiving an edible dessert. Originally ordered tres leches but after getting home and finally opening the container it immediately smelled like onions and it tasted like tres leches with fajita grilled onion frosting. Drove all the way back to the restaurant to get a new piece. After waiting about 10 min in the lobby with not so much as an apology from anyone, I was finally given a new piece. Went to the car, opened the container and same exact smell (verified by my gf) so I took it back inside and had the hostesses smell it. I was offered another dessert and chose the rice pudding. After waiting another 20 min with not so much as an apology, I was given the hot milk with steamed rice at the bottom. Started to feel personal so at this point I just gave up, threw it away (along with my $10) and left. Poor experience all around.

It's great food. But not very clean. Everything needs a good spring overhaul. A bit pricey, but isn't everything now.

For the most part the food is really tasty and the service is good. My son and I really enjoy going to this location. The staff is most of the time really friendly and are very attentive. So far only once out the 6 times we have visited in the last month which was our last visit our server just flat out kept on ignoring us. She seemed to only be focused on the older couples in the restaurant. My drink was never filled. Never asked if we wanted more chips. It took her about 10 minutes to even acknowledge us when we first sat down. She never really came to check in on us. When she finally checked in on us she tried rushing my son to eat. When we wanted to pay I even put my credit card on the table to signal we are done and it took her awhile to even have us check out. We have really enjoyed this restaurant and my son always asks to go but after having this awful server we are deciding to take a break from this restaurant.

They used to be great. But just average now. They focus on high volume instead of high quality. Really expensive average lazy Mexican food. The pre-make enchiladas and chile rellenos. That’s why the cheese isn’t gooey.
The food is good but too salty.
Love this place! Reliably good food! A bit busy in person, but we order take out all the time easily enough!
For years, this has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for Fajitas in the South Metro.
This visit revealed 1/3 to 1/2 less Chicken, definitely not Breast meat. Their plate of fixins (beans, rice, cheese pico, sour cream & guac remains unchanged) and is still great.
Maybe they were training a new cook, we'll give it one more visit and report back.

Edgar is truly a gem and an absolute standout at Highlands Ranch! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the incredible experience he provided. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
I was waiting for a friend, and Edgar didn’t miss a beat—he made sure the food stayed warm, fresh, and ready at just the right moment. It’s rare to find someone so thoughtful and attentive, but Edgar’s kindness and dedication blew me away. He was so sweet, ensuring I felt completely taken care of while being patient and professional.
It’s experiences like this that make you fall in love with a place forever. Edgar has truly set the bar for exceptional service, and Highlands Ranch is lucky to have him. I’ll be singing his praises to everyone I know! Thank you, Edgar, for going above and beyond—you’re amazing! 💖
