Called the day before to confirm availability. Acted as if no issues. Apparently they are remodeling starting the first of the year & had no food ordered or stocked so the menu was incredibly limited. Rude staff. Rude host. Lies about availability. Was excited about this place given reviews. It's a lie. Do not go. It's trash & the people that run it hire people that clearly don't care. 0/10.
Was extremely disappointed in our service here. I appreciate when a restaurant doesn’t rush me, but the service here was not only slow, but quite inattentive. Our server was not engaging at all, and our glasses were empty for much of the meal. We weren’t offered refills on soft drinks and had to ask for them. A table near us had to ask for a water refill, and personally, I find empty glasses to be a sign of poor service. Another issue was the chips and salsa that we ordered took a long time to be served, and were only on the table for a few minutes before the entrees showed up. The price point was rather high for what was served. Usually, when the food is expensive, perhaps even overpriced, the service makes up for it and offers a great dining experience. This was not the case here. The food was good, the steak in the quesadillas was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The nachos were about average, and the chips and salsa were a bit underwhelming.
Overall it was a disappointing experience and not worth the money spent.

I travel from Kansas City to Colorado quite often. After my last visit to the Old Blinking Light, I was very disappointed at how much the menu had changed, and the quality of the drinks being served. Also, I don’t understand why I’m being charged 3% to dine or drink here. The service was excellent as always, but I’m not sure of all of the changes. It just isn’t the same. I will not be coming back.

We have been going to OBL for years and love the food. Two of my favorites are the steak tacos and the salmon. The staff is what keeps us coming back again and again. They are fun and funny and attentive. It’s a great place to meet friends for happy hour!

Old Blinking Light is my favorite Bar and Restaurant in Highlands Ranch. I started coming here eight years ago. The staff and management have become friends. They have helped me with my parties at home, and I pick up food at least twice a week. We have a wonderful group of friends who meet here every week. It is our little “Cheers” Bar. New management is working on upgrades, adding music, and new menu items.
Please come and see for yourself!

We have been loyal here for 15 years and continue to love this place. The staff is awesome and we've watched them all over the years. We love them especially Leslie and Gretchen. So glad we have a good local place in highlands ranch.

Love this place for a quick bite in a dark modern atmosphere. The menu is diverse offering many different options. Originally centered around New Mexican cuisine which I love. The drinks are great as well, strong and not watered down. Service is great, we didn't have to wait. They have daily specials which is a nice addition to the menu. The squash bisque is my favorite.

This place has so much potential but they can’t seem to get it right. Consider a revamp of the menu, including the bar. Remember the locals who have kept the place alive. Make this a place people want to hang out.
Our favorite spot in Highlands Ranch. The staff is fantastic—always fun to see Nick, Emili, and others. Excellent bean, veg, and fish selections. I love the calabacitas.
