My family and I stopped in after a graduation yesterday. The restaurant smells like bathroom air freshener. My husband asked for tortillas for his carne asada. The waitress brought them after he was almost finished eating. When he politely said that he didn’t want them anymore, she said “perfect” and threw them on the server’s station.
Shrimp was raw in the shrimp tacos, didn’t complain, but didn’t eat. All of our food was lukewarm but plates were very hot which probably meant that they were sitting up in the pass for a while. This was my first time trying On The Border and unfortunately I won’t be back.

Great staff. The food is so good. And they make their chips in house!

Outstanding Tex-Mex restaurant.

Ordered steak burrito. I got beef. Waitress said steak is beef. Ug. I said I ordered the steak option not beef. Service sucked waited for drink and chips at bar with no drink or chips after ordering While the menu clearly says add steak for 1.50 the manager says I should have said fajita steak. That would be different from what menu says. Doubt I will be back.

We ordered food to pick up for dinner. They closed earlier before we had a chance to get our food. They are supposed to be open until 10 and they were closed when I arrived at 9:50 after work. Very disappointing. You should stay open for your hours when you know you have a pick up order.

Our bartender Delora was amazing! She was very attentive and provided great service. Margaritas and appetizer sampler were delicious.

I love On The Border, but I won’t be returning to this location.

We were seated right away and told our server would be with us shortly. After about 5-10 minutes, another staff member came back and said he would be our server instead since the original one was brand new. No problem. We ordered queso and guac to start, which took a bit longer than expected, but nothing too concerning.

When our server took our order, we waited about 20-25 minutes for our food—only for it to come out completely wrong. We ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas but received chicken and steak instead. Our tacos, which we had requested with modifications (no beans and some toppings removed), came out exactly as they normally would, with none of the changes made.

At this point, our server was nowhere to be found, so we asked the new girl—who, honestly, was the only saving grace of this experience. She was doing her best to fix the mistakes, even though they weren’t hers. Since we had already waited so long and were hungry, we just kept the fajitas. I sent the tacos back to be fixed, and when they returned a few minutes later… they were still wrong.

At this point, we had been there for over an hour and 15 minutes—during lunch on a Friday, with only 2-3 other tables in the entire restaurant. I had the tacos packed to go but guess what still came out incorrect.

It wasn’t just one mistake; it was a series of small, avoidable issues that added up. The poor service, lack of attention to detail, and overall experience just weren’t worth it.

if you do go to this location ask for savannah she was great, she may be new but seemed to know what she was doing better than anyone else.

Won't go back. Can't afford the time spent there.

This location likes to close early whenever they want claiming their hours have changed. No changes on Google, corporate website or even their FRONT DOOR! You will be ignored.

This location often closes and locks the door early.

This place has changed, and I'm not sure if it's for the good. It was very quiet - no TVs or music, but there were more people there than I have seen for a while. We had fajitas and they were very good - tender and flavorful without being too spicy to enjoy.

Berta Modiano

Great fajitas

Workers are rude! I was ignored even after telling 2 different workers that I was buying the food for a man that clearly didn't have a place to live! I also said I was going to get a drink, but the whole staff was more preoccupied with talking then working! 10 out of 10 would not recommend!!!!
