Very fun place, excellent food and service. Wednesday is prime rib day and 1/2 price wine night. Any night is a great night at Smokin' Fins!
When we arrived it was very loud. It must have been happy hour. We were greeted by the host who sat us when a few others in our party arrived. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, as always.
The peach halibut was wonderful. And my wife enjoyed the fisherman's platter, especially the coconut shrimp and she doesn't usually like shrimp. The key lime pie was OK but not exceptional.
Always great food and service. Great wine and drink selection too. It was a beautiful evening, so we sat outside, and ordered. Our food was brought out quickly. We topped off the dinner with a slice of key lime pie, which was as good as some of the best we've tried in Key West. A great evening.
A neighborhood gem here in Highlands Ranch that always has a broad selection of fresh seafood on the menu. That's a rarity here in the Rocky Mountains. We started with two salads: a mixed green with citrus vinaigrette and a Caesar. Both were large portions, so plan your meal accordingly if you intend to have a three-course meal. I ended up taking 2/3 of my entree home to enjoy another day. The blackened salmon soft tacos were also generously sized, well-portioned with salmon, vegetables and just the right amount of sauce. The lemon garlic mahi mahi was flavorful and cooked perfectly with a tasty sauce that didn't overpower the fish. Cilantro lime rice was served with both entrees in a portion that serves as an accompaniment — the seafood is the star here. Happy hour at Smokin' Fins is a well-known favorite, so expect a wait if you don't make a reservation.
Always enjoy the food here and server was great -really appreciated the ability for our party of 6 to get separate checks. Will be back soon!
This restaurant seats way to many people for its size. It was crowded extremely at 5:30 when we arrived for our reservation and the noise level was so high it was really difficult to carry on a conversation. On the up side we were seated immediately. The Mahi Mahi I ordered was overcooked and dry but tasty. My friend ordered the noodle bowl which was almost too spicy for her to eat. Due to the over crowding and noise level it is low on my list to return.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable about their offering and made great recommendations that we really enjoyed.
We got in last minute and found it wasn't too busy. Our waitress was very good. Love their menu. The strawberry salad with salmon was delicious with a nice chardonnay.
Smokin Fins has consistently had great food and great service. We always know what to expect when we go.

Excellent service and the kitchen went above and beyond to insure that we all enjoyed our meals.
Clam chowder was not HOT. Very thin and watery, Should be more creamy. Clams were misinscule and hard to detect among bacon bits. Calamari sent back and replaced with hot one. Need better tartar sauce for F&C's. Rogan was an excellent server!!!
Made reservations before they opened. And left because we waited and never got sat
Lobster Tots are no lobster and no taters like I thought they'd be. They're some kind of crap with imitation crab. The mahi tacos had rubbery, dry something... Not blackened, dog-treat looking substance, flat bread avocado shrimp flatbread was a tortilla but it was actually the only thing we could choke down. Overall low quality. Sorry. We were disappointed and will not be back. Oh! And the limes were all dust, no juice. They'd been sitting uncovered forever. Good things we weren't too hungry.
