I went in this morning to order a drink and asked the cashier if I had any stars to use. He said no, I didn't have enough stars for anything. However, when I logged into my account later in the day to reload my card, I saw I did have more than enough stars to have been able to get a free drink customization.
I'm told I need to support small businesses when it comes to a community purchase like coffee. However, I simply love my Starbucks! There are two locations I frequent - Cpl Max Donahue (CMD) and Broadway & Dry Creek (B&DC)! I've been going to these folks for a long while! I know them, and they know me! The cold foam decaf coffee and protein box were good. However, I don’t suggest going in the evening. I arrived 50 minutes before closing to get some work done while my kiddo was nearby for sports. I was given 3 separate “we’re closing” countdowns within 45 minutes and felt rushed out. My drink was fine, but if you’re looking for a place to hang out in the evening, don’t expect the inviting atmosphere that Starbucks used to be known for.
