Always a good option, haven't had many bad experiences here over the years. They've been there forever. Now that the entire strip is no longer the eye sore it once was, hopefully they can continue to thrive stronger than ever.

Edit- 5 years later: still an absolute diamond in the rough. Owner here knows exactly what he/she is doing in seeking out candidates for staffing. They kill it here, practically always and I'm in there easily more than the average person...all my experience of course, but they appear to be a very well oiled machine 💯 fantastic front end staff who are noticeably cross trained and actually *helpful/useful*..it's easy to see the backend staff knows exactly what they're doing also because my food is always so bomb. Hence me coming 4x a week 😂

Original Review: We love the food here! However, our experience tonight was disappointing. Please update your side sizes on your website. We ordered ahead online two medium sides advertised as a half lb each (8 oz). We received two sides in a 5.5 oz container. We were so shocked we even weighed them to see if somehow we misunderstood. We called the store and they were very nice but insisted we were given the correct sizes. I would’ve been happy to have paid for the large if I had realized we weren’t ordering enough food.

If you are looking for a great cheese steak with crispy french fries, you are in luck! Taste of Philly is my go to choice for a tasty cheese steak. Pro tip: For an adult beverage pairing, stop by Max Taps next door for some delicious beer from the bar side cooler to go or belly up to the bar and order one of their many fine beers on tap. You cannot go wrong.

It seems like good service is getting harder and harder to find. I was authentically greeted when I came to pick up our to-go order not once but twice by two associates. We are totally new to Taste Of Philly after our gluten free son discovered it with a friend. We have now gone 3x in the last few weeks and it is seriously SO delicious. Thank you for being so kind and giving our family a meal we ALL look forward to.
