I was at "The Egg" on 02-13-25, when I walked in i was greeted and said to sit where I liked. Once seated, the waitress asked what I'd like to drink and handed me the menu.
.
I ordered the 2 eggs with sausage and biscuits & gravy. Personally, i thought the food was very good / excellent and cost very reasonable. As i went to pay, I was asked if everything was fine and I said it was, but I had a problem because it was kind of chilly while eating. I was then told that the thermostat is was in the kitchen, which regulates the dining area.
.
This is my only complaint. I wish that the property owner(s) or restaurant move the thermostat into the dining area to make it more comfortable.

As another described it, sort of a hole in the wall vibe but cozy. The entryway is pretty small and a young man walked up to us and mumbled something that sounded like “youswet inbek”. We clearly didn’t understand what he was saying and he repeated it while gesturing towards the bathrooms. We saw other people waiting in the little alley by the bathrooms and walked back, realizing he meant “you wait in back”. An older gentlemen who didn’t speak much more English asked us how many and we said two. We asked how long the wait was and he nodded and handed us a pager. I repeated more slowly and he said “tweeny, tweeny fi”. Fair enough. They were busy but we were sat in about twenty minutes. We arrived at about 930am on a Saturday and the wait time quickly doubled, the bathroom alley now full with a new secondary line waiting outside.
We were sat in a little booth by the window, and one of the seats was broken. Fortunately the waitresses spoke much better English than the first two guys. We ordered waters, an OJ and a coffee. The waitress came back a few minutes later and realized she forgot the coffee. A few more minutes later the coffee arrived but she didn’t pause long enough to take our order so the table that had been sat after us got their drink and food orders in right away. A different waitress came by a few minutes after that and we ordered a veggie skillet and the classic breakfast with NY Strip. My wife liked the veggie skillet, but my $18 NY Strip was about half fat and tasted like it had been grilled on a bed of onions. I quite like onions so that didn’t bother me and I thought the eggs and hash browns were great. The coffee was decent and there were people coming around often with a pot to make sure everyone was topped off. Our waters were never refilled, and I’m assuming the $5 juice doesn’t include refills as nobody ever offered.
This small breakfast for two was around $42 before tip. I’m posting the newest menu so you can see how much prices have gone up. We couldn’t find an online menu and the one my wife found through Grubhub or whatever was barely more than 50% of the one we received.
I would go back to try something else, especially since the overall ratings stand at 4.6 today, which didn’t reflect our experience. Next time I’ll probably speak Spanish to remove the language barrier and try a breakfast burrito instead of a classic breakfast. My opinion after our first visit is Waffle House is just as good for half the money.
Parking: It’s a free parking lot but was already completely full by 930am on a weekend. We had to wait for someone to leave.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor so technically it’s wheelchair accessible but the space is fairly cramped with narrow walkways between tables so I would not advise coming here if you are in a wheelchair.

Hearty breakfast and lunch fare, great flavor, generous servings, dedicated staff. Only down side is that it's so good the place is constantly full (but worth the wait).
Wheelchair accessibility: On a single level, with nearby handicapped parking slots. But... tight quarters in the restaurant; tough for a walker, daunting for a wheelchair.

USED TO BE our go-to breakfast destination. The wait staff is still very kind and helpful. However, our last visit started with the usual welcoming experience. But after we paid the bill, we sat there chatting while finishing our coffee, and THE MANGER/OWNER actually came to the table and asked us to leave. I understand that a business makes more money when more customers walk into the door, but more will walk through the door AGAIN after a pleasant experience. This experience was very frustrating. It's too bad we will not be returning for a very long time.

Rolled up on a Sunday morning, probably around nine thirtyish. The place was pretty busy, but I got a table in about 15 minutes, they hand out little table pagers. Tried the supreme burrito, it was delicious and the portion more than I could eat. The spiciness was just right, not too strong but not too weak, a gradual build that absolutely delights the pallet. Enjoy my friends.

We eat here 2-4 times month, mostly because we like to support small, local businesses. The food is good but nothing fancy for sure. They serve margarine instead of butter, concentrate OJ, etc. Our problem today was the long hair found on my plate, after I had taken a few bites. When I showed the waitress she took my plate away. Never asked if I wanted something else, which I didnt..Yuck! The item was still on the bill when another waitress brought it over. We explained about the hair and she said "sorry, too late to adjust the bill." Just like that they lost some previously loyal customers.
Best flapjacks in town! Fun and friendly! Delicious food at a great price!
