Good Tex-Mex flavors that hit the spot, but portions tend to be on the smaller side. Prices feel a bit high for what you get. Great for a flavorful quick bite if you don’t mind paying a little extra.

There are tacos, and then there is Torchy’s—gritty, glorious, unapologetic. A psychedelic roadside attraction masquerading as a taco joint, parked square in the chaos of Denver’s 11th Ave like a neon-lit food altar built by renegade saints and line cooks with too much soul to quit.

I went in hungry and mildly unhinged. The salad with chicken arrived first—an architectural wonder of greens, charred meat, and whatever secret dressing they’re brewing...

I came in relatively late and a giant crowd showed up behind me. Grecia was able to answer my question and helped me with any misunderstandings from the menu.

Bragged to people about the service within an hour of the meal and will continue to recommend this restaurant to others (especially out of town’ers)

A delightful late night treat spot (demolished the taco too late for a pic) 10/10
