As a regular visitor to the Salida / Howard, Colorado area it is nice to find a place you can go and unwind after driving in from Texas. Also a quaint and relaxing atmosphere for a morning brekkie and / or a place in the evening to wind down at a cosy bar with people from the community. Our Place Cafe hits the marks and many more. Great little, locally owned restaurant! Owner was super sweet and gracious. The food was fantastic - brisket sandwich and fried okra.
Ample servings, meat was tender and tasty. The okra was perfect with cornmeal batter.
We didn’t get the opportunity to go to the adjoining bar - but it looked super cute!

Love sitting out back in their patio which is River front. Love their GF breakfast chorizo tacos on corn tacos with their chipotle sauce. Highly recommend.
