Very nice dining experience. Nice background music, just loud enough to be noticed in the background does not interfere with conversation. Nice lighting, did not feel like we were in a cave hiding from authorities. Food was excellent, nice presentation, prepared to request, and seasoning was perfect and flavorful. There were multiple choices to choose from, hard to decide on what to eat. Staff was friendly, but not chummy, the service was very good and they checked on the table often enough that if you needed something you didn't have to wait, but not so often that they interfered with the dining experience. We will be returning to dine here again even though it is an hour drive from our home.
Came for my birthday. Amazing food and the staff is so professional definitely amplifies the “fancy” vibe of it all. They even let me bring my own cake! They kept it in the back and brought it out after dinner, cut it and put candles on it for me. Also our waiter sang happy birthday which was a cute touch.
Why have a dress code that is ignored? This is the 2nd time we went to Seven Rivers matching the required code but others came in woeful grubs that took some of the "glow" off the ambiance. Please, enforce the code or have said dirty street clothes eat in another room. Driving 1 1/2 hours to dine (Pagosa Springs) and seeing some dressed in such attire bothered our special evening.
Seven Rivers is our favorite restaurant, hands down! We can never narrow down our choices, so we order just about everything on the menu. Coconut Shrimp, the crab cake, the bacon-wrapped scallops, the crab-stuffed shrimp, and on and on and on. Simply delicious. The service (we had the good fortune to have Randall last night) is unbeatable. We just love it.
We always have a great time and staff is the BEST where they ensure your expectations are met.
Amazing service! Our waiter was great! The food is very good. Haven't had a bad meal there yet.
Great good , service good - Awful experience with greeter. He was rude, talked down to us, argued that we didn't have a reservation. We had it for at least 10 days . Made us wait for a table & then sat us in what seemed like the wait station.
Not even mediocre. Halibut severely over cooked and chewy. Crab stuffed scampi needed a steak knife to cut shrimp. Like rubber. Left 3 shrimp on the plate. Stuffing was ok but nothing worth having again. Sides were luke warm or cold. Hadn’t been in a while and has definitely slipped in quality and execution in the kitchen. And the server walks around with a mask on her chin repeatedly touching it with gloves on. Hilarious.

We really enjoy this restaurant. Staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and professional. Food is always excellent. Bison steak and lobster are always to perfection. We eat here for all special occasions and we like to bring friends, so they can experience a special meal!

Once again a fabulous experience! The food is amazing and just melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass as it is incredible. Service is always wonderful and so friendly. We love everything about 7 Rivers!
Very subpar and disappointing for how much money you're paying. You pretty much HAVE to have a reservation to get a table. The hostess, although sassy, was bit%#y. We had a waitress named Carol that wore a mask and repeatedly touched it over and over and then touched our food (she made our dessert.). The food was meh... under seasoned, although the crab cake was delicious. They were snotty and pretentious. The bananas foster just tasted like booze and the bison steak couldn't have been more tasteless. It was honestly so disappointing. I expected a lot more. It under delivered, that's for sure. Pass and just skip this casino all together. It's out dated and boring.
Terrible service and food was mediocre. Had to send crab cakes back...over priced.

Best steak I’ve had in a while. This summer I traveled to the Great Lakes and across Canada. Now on my way to Texas through Durango. In this whole adventure this steak is by far the best!

We have eaten here several times over the past few years. My wife and I have had, at one time or another, pretty much the entire menu. Seems like the steaks have gotten a thinner cut over time. The last few steaks seem to be about 3/4 to 1 inch. Even the bone-in ribeye was cut too thin to really get a good flavor. The scallops have been one of our favorites. Tonight, however, their supplier did not deliver any today, and the dinner size was not available. The filet mignon was good, but not great. The stuffed halibut was somewhat disappointing. The halibut was a little tough around the edges and the stuffing-which was to be lobster and crab meat-was difficult to discern. Lots of sauce but not as much lobster/crab meat as I would have liked. Less sauce and allow the stuffing meats to be recognizable and enjoyed. The lobster tails are excellent.Baked potatoes were well cooked and very good. The creamed corn was, like the halibut sauce, a little heavy on sauce and light on corn. The nutmeg spice was a nice surprise. My wife cannot eat gluten so our choices for dessert were somewhat limited to crème brûlée or bananas foster. We chose the bananas and were not disappointed. It was very good.
The service was excellent. Chrissy was very attentive without being overbearing or a nuisance. High marks for her. Due to an employee not showing up, she was the lone server but handled the pressure with grace and professionalism. We have also had excellent service from Carol on previous visits.
All in all, I would give our experience today to be 7/10. We have had other dinners there that would have ranked higher.
Dietary restrictions: As a celiac patient, my wife eats gluten free . She’s never had an issue here. Be sure and ask your server about GF options
