Very nice dining experience. Nice background music, just loud enough to be noticed in the background does not interfere with conversation. Nice lighting, did not feel like we were in a cave hiding from authorities. Food was excellent, nice presentation, prepared to request, and seasoning was perfect and flavorful. There were multiple choices to choose from, hard to decide on what to eat. Staff was friendly, but not chummy, the service was very good and they checked on the table...
Came for my birthday. Amazing food and the staff is so professional definitely amplifies the “fancy” vibe of it all. They even let me bring my own cake! They kept it in the back and brought it out after dinner, cut it and put candles on it for me. Also our waiter sang happy birthday which was a cute touch.
Why have a dress code that is ignored? This is the 2nd time we went to Seven Rivers matching the required code but others came in woeful grubs that took some of the "glow" off the ambiance. Please, enforce the code or have said dirty street clothes eat in another room. Driving 1 1/2 hours to dine (Pagosa Springs) and seeing some dressed in such attire bothered our special evening.
