Went in to try this place out for the first time and surprisingly their parking lot was full. I had an okay experience. I think I interacted with the owner which is a very nice and welcoming lady. Food was okay, I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga. Meat was tender and I like the green chile. The rice and beans weren’t my favorite, rice was halfway cooked and had some crunchy pieces to it.

I loved the food offerings on the Rose Cafe-great menu, but I settled on Mexican-shredded beef relleno (love relleno's but most are stuffed with just cheese), this one had a generous amount of great tasting shredded beef on top of the stuffed relleno (chicken was also an option). Salsa was tasty. Whole beans were cooked to perfection as was the rice. Green chili (had a choice of red or green) was great and spicy. What a treat to find a family owned well run diner in this little town. Only had the rellenos and a milk shake but they they were the best n a long time for us. Next time will try the green chili burgers. Ok. Came back and had the green chili burger and another milkshake. Just the best.
