We visited on a very quiet Sunday about 9:30. Nice open space without too many patrons that particular morning. My cortado was had a bit too much milk but coffee was good. My son’s nitro was solid. Staff was very friendly and the seating space was plentiful and comfortable.

Good place! The coffee's good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices compete well with Starbucks. I particularly enjoyed the Tommy Boy.
Do note, if you order an iced coffee, they put in so much ice that it turns your 12oz coffee into a 6oz one. Perhaps they'd be willing to accommodate if you ask them to either put in less ice or use a larger cup.
The food and drinks here are genuinely great — everything I’ve tried has been delicious and the quality is always consistent. The only downside is the service can be very slow. I ordered a coffee at 10:29 and didn’t receive it until 10:56, even though the shop wasn’t very busy. I still enjoy coming here, but I hope the speed improves because the place itself has so much potential.

Great option for a locally-owned coffee stop. Always friendly service and new/rotating flavors for those who like to try new things.
Nice little coffee shop. My Sammie was great and my girls crepes looked good. Definitely will swing by if in area again

We love treating ourselves to the creative fun drinks at Black Sheep, the Haunted Mansion is my favorite! The staff is always welcoming and attentive to all who come in. Such a great local coffeehouse, next time we will add a crepe and enjoy dining in!

Great Coffee and Crepes! Also have sandwiches.
Black Sheep Coffee & Crepes in Johnstown is one of my favorite local spots! The coffee is always fresh and flavorful, and the crepes are absolutely amazing- sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it’s the perfect place to meet friends, catch up on work, or just enjoy a quiet morning.
As a Johnstown real estate agent, I love supporting our local businesses that make this community so special. Black Sheep truly captures that small-town charm with big flavor- definitely worth stopping by!
(These pictures are actually from before they did a remodel! It’s even nicer now! :) )

Great coffee, atmosphere, and service!
I stopped by on my way to run errands and normally enjoy trying different local coffee places around the area. The girl at the register was very friendly. However, the girl that handed me my drink, looked me up and down with the most judgemental expression. It was incredibly rude. I left quickly because it made me uncomfortable. My drink was very good, but I would expect more professionalism.

Food is good but overpriced for what you get.
Food: I had the No Diggity Crepe, and 3 meat sandwich - toasted. The sandwich I enjoyed, and the bread was good toasted and warmed. I liked all of the meats, and the fresh tasting tomatoes and lettuce! The crepe was good, I liked crepe itself, it was a good taste and flavor, and with the cinnamon sugar it was good. The frosting I did not enjoy, it was way too sweet for me.
Service: The food came out quick and there were a lot of people working there. All the workers seemed pretty nice.
Atmosphere: I liked the brick walls and the fun bicycle lamps, but there was a leak in one of the pipes when I was here.
Overall: I would say the prices are decent and I like the community based feel.

My husband and I have lived in Johnstown for about a year and a half now and we just discovered this place! I’m actually mad I didn’t discover it sooner!! It’s such a cute joint with friendly and inviting staff, delicious coffee, and the breakfast is amazing!! We both ordered a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese crepe. My husband got his with green chili and he said the green chili was quite tasty. They do NOT skimp on portions either! The crepes are HEFTY and super protein packed! Neither of us could even finish them so we had to take half of them home! My husband loved the cold brew he got, and I got a seasonal pumpkin spice latte and it was so good!! For dessert we got a chocolate Nutella crepe with cinnamon sugar on top with a chocolate drizzle. It was amazing!! The rustic atmosphere is so calming and cozy and we will definitely be returning!! I only wish I knew about this when I had family in town a couple weeks ago!
