Our experience at the Bonefish Grill in Johnstown was phenomenal, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Ryan A. From the moment we sat down, Ryan was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations, and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Drinks were always full, timing was spot-on, and she checked in just enough to make us feel well cared for. You can tell Ryan truly takes pride in her work and wants guests to have an amazing experience. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional, personal, and fun but she nailed it. Because of Ryan, our meal wasn’t just good—it was memorable. If you’re dining at Bonefish Grill in Johnstown, do yourself a favor and ask for Ryan. She’s a standout server/waitress and a true asset to the restaurant! 👏🍽️

We started out with house bread with olive oil dipping and spice dipping sauce. The bread was served warm and was quite tasty. For an appetizer, we ordered the Bang-Bang shrimp. Very good. For our main course, we ordered the shareable entrée with two. It has two salads, a four portion entrée, and two shareable sides. The entrée was four sharable portions - shrimp with a mango relish, grilled salmon, grilled Mahi Mahi with pesto butter, and rare tuna with tasty glaze. Our sides were the kung pao brussel sprouts and cheesy augrautin potatoes The variety of sea food was very tasty, and the selected side dishes complemented them well. This was a well-balanced meal that was fairly light - but filling.

We dined here on New Year's Eve and had a reservation, but still waited about 40 minutes to be seated. Unfortunately, once seated, the food was very disappointing and did not meet expectations like it has in the past. I do want to acknowledge that the manager handled the situation promptly and professionally. My entrée was removed from the bill, and we were offered a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated. While I'm grateful for the manager's effort, the overall experience was not enjoyable, especially given the long wait and poor food quality. I hope this feedback helps improve future holiday service.

For the 1st time in 7 or 8 times we have been to Bonefish Grill the food was very disappointing. I had the Shrimp and Scallops Scampi--it was terrible. Scampi should have garlic in it, and it had none and the sauce wasn't very good. We tout Bonefish as one of our favorite restaurants and are hoping this was an anomaly.

The crab cakes and bang bang shrimp are all good. The veggies and potatoes did not seem as fresh as I would have liked. Overall it was satisfactory.
We eat at Bonefish Grill every Christmas Eve. It was crowded but had a reservation. Our server was outstanding and in a happy mood. Our food came out surprisingly quick and was very good. We always have a fantastic meal and servers every time we go. Highly recommend.

Our experience last night for dinner was really great. The portions were better and the quality of food was better than the last couple of times we have dined there. We really enjoy going to the pairing event dinners and this one was fantastic! All of the drinks were tasty and complimented the food. All of the food courses were delicious and as usual we needed to bring home a box because we had to save room for the dessert! These pairing diners are a great value in our opinion and the staff always hustles and is very friendly!
