Yum!!! Great food 💟 Fun place to get great meal & atmosphere ðŸ¤
I took my girlfriend out to BFG because I had a gift card and wanted fish. Upon entering we entered the bar area with a bit of hesitation as you have it further to walk to the hostess stand. We were greeted and sat promptly. We were asked about drinks in a decent amount of time. When they came out, the server hurriedly thrpugh them on the table, hands still wet sprtizing me with water. The bread and oil were the best part of our dinner. We were well ready to order for about 5 minutes before we saw our server again. I ordered the Margarita Sea Bass and my girlfriend ordered the Rainbow Trout. The Seabass was dry on the ouside and over well done on the inside. The char taste was fine, but the Margarita sauce was like a reduced frozen margarita mix that you would get on The Strip. It was as if they went to a $1.50/scoop restaurant and ask them to make a Margarita sauce. Woth the Jasmine rice, it was a gagging experience. The meal also came with large asparagus which were cooked fine, but lacked any semblance of seasoning. There was salt amd pepper at the table, but the Margarita sauce was in the bottom and ruined the taste of everything on the plate. The rainbow trout was a fried butterfly filet. The skin was on but cooled in a way that had a rubbery texture instead of a crisp texture. It also was a minefield of bones in the worst kind of way. It was deboned enough to not know you had to be careful, but not well enough that you could eat it with out being forced to pull bones out as you chew. The server asked how things wereand we told him olay. He offered to make something else, but it didn't appear there were any standards of what was being sent out of the kitchen. So, we declined. The meal in total was about $75 with tax. The auto calculations for a tip have ypu tipping on the tax as well. Overall, the price to qaulity is not even in the same ballpark. You have a restaurant marketed and priced as the New York Yankees, but the product of the Rockies. A nice vibe, but you don't go with expectations. I will not be returning to this location, but figured I would give my feedback in hopes some one has enough pride to do better.
Our server was very attentive and made sure to check on us regularly for drink refills and remove unnecessary dishes. Atmosphere was pleasant and not too crowded. The food was very good and was brought out in a timely fashion. This was a good bye meal for one of our employees and I think everyone had a great time.
Love this place, nice atmosphere and very high quality food. Staff very professional also! Fun times!
Great food, good drinks, incredible service. A must try.
Ate here last night. Very good. Little pricey but you expect that for a fish house. Everything was really good! Nice size portions. Drinks were good too.
Micheal David and Madison and the manager has been amazing 5star all the way
This used to be one of our favorite places to eat until they completely changed the menu. Whatever brilliant manager Made this decision has caused us to find a new restaurant for Friday nights.
Consistently good....always a trusted go to
