For the 3rd time I’ve ordered take out, got home and it’s wrong. I get a sweet pork quesolle plain with no cheese. On the app did I not only ‘uncheck’ everything including cheese, but additionally I typed ‘no cheese’ in the comments. I’ve about given up. Drive back and they say the same thing as the last 2 times. ‘We must of just got your order mixed up with someone else’. Then has the nerve to ask if I want it remade….. of course I do. I wouldn’t have drove 20 min back if I didn’t what it remade. No apology or anything other than remaking the order that was incorrect in the first place. Then, the person checking customers out has an earbud in, along with the manager. It is what it is but seems a little unprofessional to me. It’s one thing if it’s people working in the back.

First two times I went here I got a smothered burrito and didn’t really care for it….I thought it was way too much rice. Today I got the enchiladas. I read the description so I knew it was layered and not rolled. I also tried the creamy habanero sauce for the first time. Now I get the hype! This was delicious and now I look forward to going back!!

My son and I come up here to go shopping at Scheels. We always stop at Cafe Mexicali for food because you get your money's worth. The food is wonderful and we are completely full when we leave. Deserts are delicious. Most of the time we leave with left overs.
This place is absolutely my go-to restaurant. The food is amazing and you get it within five minutes. Usually no wait.

Strong doubts about how ling this place will be around… Very uncoordinated ordering and service.. The food was good and fresh. Salads are good. DO NOT order enchiladas, you will be disappointed! It is their version which is more like a flat deconstructed taco covered in sauce…. First and last time….
