My husband and I were really excited to try this place out. We drove from Fort Collins this morning at 9am to find a closed sign on the door. The closed sign was for 6am and the website stated they should be open. We were quite disappointed.

WOW. First time going to this place. I woke up early on my day off with my fiance to drive from Fort Collins to your location in Johnstown. The atmosphere was sad. The crew member who help me just not good. Sorry didnt get his name. He took my order did not look at me, and I had to repeat myself. The crew felt like they didn't want to be there and very apathetic. They messed up my order. I ordered blue berry pancake donut samwhich, and I got a donut with blueberry drizzle on it and nothing like the blue berry pancake and I order a cotton candy dream and got something that had no strawberry drizzle on it. I do not know what the crews problem was but unfortunately will not be back. This was definitely a half of a star experience, and someone needs to know.

Asked for a Cotton Candy Dream donut, they gave me Cotton Candy Swirl donut (the one i wanted has strawberry drizzle, the one I got has cotton candy drizzle).Got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a Blueberry Pancake donut. That donut is supposed to be blueberry icing with maple drizzle and powdered sugar. They gave me a donut with only a drizzle of the blueberry.Those employees either literally do not know what they are making, or they hate their jobs. Whether it's them or management, someone is literally just not doing it. The donuts aren't bad, they're just not what was ordered at all.We tried to talk to them, at first because we haven't been here before and thought the process was cool. They did not want to talk about donuts. Then we couldn't tell them the donuts were wrong, they ignored us.There's no music or talking, ants in the bathroom, and the sink and mirror in the bathroom were trashed. It wasn't even 8am yet.Unfriendly, weird vibe, not clean, donuts flat out made wrong.I will never go to any Duck Donuts location anywhere, ever again.

I'm not sure what I expected as this was the first time being to a Duck Doughnuts. I like the fact they make the doughnuts to specification in front of you. That means they are hot and fresh.The one draw back is that the very first doughnut I ate, I took one bite and the whole thing fell apart in my hands. It crumbled.

This is my third time here and omg.... This place is divine each visit. You can customize your own doughnut with all toppings you want and they have a big variety of toppings.., their shakes are so good. More on the creamy side so if you don't like that then i suggest you don't get. The doughnuts are made to order so hot and yummy. I didn't understand why ppl were eating theirs with a fork but once you try them you will understand lol. 10/10 recommended. One time trying and you will be hooked. These are cake doughnuts!
My whole family loves these doughnuts & so fun to get with the kids. Employees are nice and service is very quick for freshly made.

Always love to pay these a folks a visit when traveling through. We enjoy the business concept and the variety of choices. The staff is always friendly and show their appreciation for your business. We wish these folks continued success.Parking: Adequate parking within the footprint of a small strip mall. They have a few reserved spots exclusively for their business.

I'm really sorry, but I am not a fan. The donuts are really no better than the ones you get in a grocery store bakery....although you can't get the variety of toppings in the grocery store. The price is a little steep for what I got also. This was my first experience here. I walked in, there was only one customer in front of me waiting for their order to be completed. I placed my order and I guess I had to wait about 15 minutes for completion. The entire time I was in there, there was ZERO communication between the two employees. No talking, nothing. I felt uncomfortable, not able to figure out if they just don't talk or enjoy their job, or hate each other. Really an awkward feeling. When I took my box to my car, I set it on the seat to go home. I realized I had chocolate frosting all over my hand from carrying the box, and that there was now a huge glob of frosting on my cloth car seat. Not happy. I would suggest in the future they check the counter they place the box on to make sure it is clean..... So overall, I won't go back as there are better donut shops closer to my home.
The donuts were delicious! I had the maple bacon and the peanut butter with marshmallow cream. So, so good! They are cake donuts, which I am usually not find of, but these are donuts I will return for. Definitely worth the trip out there.

Placed an order at 5:05, no one in the store.Took 35 minutes for my order. Steak dinner at a nice restaurant is faster than this place.Kids working here are nice ,Unless you have a full day to burn and like to eat marginal donuts , come to - uck donutsDonuts are disappointing, do not like to write bad reviews, but this place absolutely deserves bad reviews
