I'm pretty sure the girl gave me the wrong sauce. Please label your bottles better! Not everyone can do spicy. The sauce has completely ruined my whole dinner that I've been looking forward to for a few days. It might seem petty to some people, but I go here as a treat two or three times a year.
I absolutely love going to this restaurant! It's a treat that I don't get very often. Tonight when I went in, I ordered my regular, with extra house sauce. I get the house sauce because of how good it is and it's not spicy. But they changed it and now it's spicy! To say I'm disappointed as an understatement. I don't know why y'all would change a good thing.

I usually go to Fort Collins location, but decided to check this location as well. I barely had any meat in my large bowl, even though it comes with 4 proteins. The protein portion was measured with a tea spoon and even though I was supposed to get beef- nothing was literally there. Also, they did not have half of the toppings and all I had in my large portion - bunch of veggies and rice, huge clumps of it stuck together. Hopefully FoCo location remains as good as it usually is, not coming back to Johnstown location.
Came here with my boys. Trying something new with them. The staff acted so put out that they were ordering slow. Wasn’t as if they were busy. Stop rushing your customers and we may come back. The Fort Collins franchise is ran way better and the staff there are polite.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Honolulu Poké Bar in Johnstown. In mid-October 2024, I became seriously ill with Salmonella food poisoning for two weeks after eating their poke salad. After extensive conversations with the health department and reviewing everything I ate during that time, the source was narrowed down to the cucumbers in my order here. Health officials confirmed that the Salmonella strain matched the outbreak linked to cucumbers.
When placing my order, I felt rushed and pressured to make quick decisions, which led to me unknowingly consuming tainted cucumbers. This was an incredibly unpleasant and avoidable ordeal. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I strongly urge management to prioritize food safety and customer care to prevent such incidents in the future.

We usually eat here once a week we love poke. Tonight we were celebrating my youngest son and it was his pick. We knew we were running late, but we had our bowls ordered and paid for and they didn’t close for another 15 minutes. Plenty of time for us to eat and leave. However they didn’t even give us the chance. They gave us our food and told us they were closing and we had to leave. I’ve never been to a restaurant or fast food where you get your food before they close and they kick you out before closing just bc they don’t want to deal with you. We had to drive 30 mins back home to eat and we were so disappointed with their customer service.

It was my favorite place to get lunch but the portion sizes have shrunk which isn't such a big deal because that's the world we live in right now. My issue is the sauce. This has happened too many times, and I'm irritated enough at this point to write a review about it.
I always ask for house sauce in my poke bowl. Over the last few months, it's like the guy uses an eye dropper to add the sauce. I learned to start ordering with extra sauce. This last two times I ordered sauce + extra, there was barely any in the bowl. I'm tired of buying extra and having to ask for what I paid for. It's not that hard to put the appropriate amount of sauce in a bowl and then fill the little plastic ramiken with the sauce. Not a quarter full, not half full, FULL. Like come on. It's the same story with avocado.
I even started to write instructions: "please add extra sauce," "put sauce in the bowl, and add extra in a ramiken."
Check your food before you leave so you know you're getting what you want and paid for.

This is a great restaurant anytime, but especially if you’re in need of a healthy, substantial meal and you’re short on time. I recommend checking out their menu online before you go in because the line moves FAST and there’s a lot of options. The sweet tofu skin, sweet pickled ginger and roasted seaweed were great additions to a protein-packed small bowl (included two scoops of tofu & edamame).
Quick service, healthy food, fair pricing and straightforward and relaxing atmosphere.

I have been to many Honolulu Poke Bar’s and this one is by far the worst! Save your money and go somewhere else. Literally they give you 1/2 a scoop compared to other HPBs. When told that they are ripping people off they said we are different and our portions are less due to the Manager wanting to save money! I do not recommend this rip off!
This is literally the worst poke bowl experience ever. The lack of management is something else. They are to many food handling rules totally missing. Cross contamination food is something that they need to be aware specifically when the menu is raw seafood. Stay away from this place if you don’t want to get food poisoning. Not recommended at all. ?

We stopped here tonight by accident because bad daddy's had too long of a wait for us. The girl behind the counter was so helpful and patient while our family of 5 navigated the menu full of ingredients we were unfamiliar with. That being said, EVERYBODY in my family loved their food. We had bowls with tuna, scallops, beef, and salmon. Ingredients tasted so fresh and wonderful. We will definitely be back

Have been here four or five times over the last two years. Food is usually great, portions keep shrinking and price increasing- to be fair that is everywhere. Asking for extra sauce or avocado gets a gruff reply from a guy saying extra charge, extra charge which I don’t have a problem with, it’s the attitude that doesn’t work in this case. I don’t think customer service is a priority to this business. Not saying I won’t come back, but if I do and get same gruff service, it might be the last. Was two people before us in line, and no one directly after us, but felt like we had to rush to keep staff happy. Just my two cents. Was $36 for two medium bowls and two sodas. Also, IMHO not a tipping business, but they ask on the credit card machine for tips. Getting tired of people who make minimum wage or more asking for tips when an actual real server at a real restaurant doesn’t get minimum wage for doing all the work. They should prohibit pan handling for tips if they get minimum wage, even if it is a credit card machine doing the asking, if they continue to ask for tips, explain why they are asking for tips and who gets them.
