Urban Egg a daytime eatery

Honestly, can’t believe I haven’t made a review before now. I’ve been frequenting This place for years, specifically because the service is always wonderful, and they offer a lot of vegan options. Definitely more than the vast majority of breakfast places in town.

But to touch on the service… Throughout the years, as the industry always goes, staff has come and gone. But the consistent part of that is that their staff is always beyond wonderful, knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, efficient, fast. All the good things. This is the given birthday spot for that reason. We recently came in for my mom‘s birthday the day before Thanksgiving. I called that morning and spoke to Corinna. She not only got us in for a large reservation somewhat last minute, when we arrived, she greeted me by name, and insured that our entire Experience was perfect. At the end of our meal, she brought some plant trimmings as a birthday gift for my mom. This is the type of service and employee that is the ultimate gift in This industry.

The only reason they didn’t get five stars on food is because, though they do offer lots of well labeled vegan options, I do feel like with a couple of tweaks they could offer incredible vegan options. As it’s so happens, I owned a vegan restaurant, and have worked as a consultant for many years, and would love to offer my services free of charge. Hint hint management😬 thank you, Urban Egg for always taking such wonderful care of us!

Very busy place. The food and service were very good. I requested extra crispy bacon, potatoes, toast and very over easy eggs and everything was done exactly as requested! My mom has French toast which she said was amazing!

We have a new favorite spot. The hollandaise, sausage gravy and avocado crema all are delightful. Huevos Rancheros, Denver Hot Benedict and Rocky Mtn Corned Beef Hash make for a great day. Brunch beverages can’t be beat.

Ate brunch on a beautiful Saturday morning. The place was packed,uncomfortably loud, but luckily we found peace on the patio. The food was on the pricier side but it came to be worth it when it came out. Our group had the biscuits and gravy starter, bacon jam burger, the classic Benedict, blueberry streusel pancake, and the strawberry cheesecake pancake. Every item matched or exceeded expectations.

Excellent choices for families, great with allergies and dietary restrictions and the most warm, kind environment! Shmaddy (Shay and Maddy) served us at their counter today and gave us the best morning! Such an awesome way to end our weekend. Thank you Shmaddy!

Really reasonably priced classic breakfast that tastes homemade. I like simple/basic: pancakes, eggs and bacon with fresh fruit. So many new breakfast places don’t really do that anymore, surprisingly. The hostess was really great and made sure my to-go order was complete and asked if I needed any extras. The restaurant itself was clean, lit pleasantly and has a wall of live plants. The ambiance felt very “charming, comfortable morning” if that makes sense.

Great food. Had to wait almost twenty minutes for server to greet us. Which was the only negative experience we had. Once she finally greeted us, she was very attentive. we were happy with her service. Just not the wait. Food came quickly and it was very delicious.
