A fun very local place! Town has a population of 200? We were there on a Saturday night on the Main Street - and we were almost the only vehicle on the street. Great menu. And great prices. The waitress was terrific.

A quaint little restaurant in a small town in Colorado. We loved it. The food was great and it was awesome to see the interaction between owners and the locals.

The food and people were amazing, but it’s hard to recommend this place when you feel like you’re eating in the kitchen. The smoke and exhaust is horrible and I could smell it in my clothes the rest of the day. Do something about the smoke issue and I’d recommend this place all day long.

Noisy noon-time down home crowd with kids not quite under control but worth the irratation for the food.

This place is so good! The wings are amazing, the burgers are fantastic! The curly fries are amazing with the crispiness and the perfectly seasoned outside. All the dinner dishes are great! You honestly can’t go wrong with what you order here. The atmosphere is friendly and worth every visit.

Food was very good. My initial order was undercooked. The staff corrected the issue and was very apologetic. They are very hospitable and had great service.
I love the old small town charm of the place. Pure mid-west!

Second time going to DJ Café, both times had exceptional food, I had the breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and green chili over. It was very delicious and hashbrowns were cooked to my liking, my wife had the country fried steak and eggs, and was very delightful, I don’t think you can go wrong eating at this restaurant.
Oh, and the service was exceptional as well.

We came in as a group of four around dinnertime, when the restaurant was just under half-full. Most of the other customers were already eating. We ordered some simple burgers and pancakes--nothing complicated.
However, our main complaint is that we waited for over 30 minutes for our order, with no communication from the staff about the delay. Additionally, we saw pick-up orders come in after we ordered, which were fulfilled well before our order. Also, there were flies in the store.
Our waitress was good--the drinks we got while waiting (beers and a milkshake) were also good. Those were the positives... but overall, a 30+ minute wait for some burgers is ridiculous.
Food was overcooked ...pizza was ok

Small town restaurant, we were waited on very fast. Party of 4 and 2 plates were brought out and said they would be right back with the other 2 plates. My daughter and myself finished our food before the other 2 plates were brought to the table. When they finally received their food, it was cold and there were no apologies for it taking 20 minutes to get the rest of our food. We were not checked on at all.

Hometown diner with all the comfort food and nostalgic staples you could ask for. Bonus in that breakfast is served all day. Friendly service made it a great place to catchup with friends while traveling through on the way to RAGBRAI.
