Don't know what happened to the place but it's sad. What used to be a great wine and social restaurant with live music is now a place that primarily sells clothes (second hand?) there used to be multiple tables to sit at, eat and drink wine. Now there's just racks of clothes. There was 3 or 4 chairs at a bar where you could have wine but that's it. We sat outside. The person who served us the wine was friendly and very attentive. Just don't know what happened.

We've come here for years and it continues to be a lovely mainstay in La Veta. Enjoy the patio or inside the cute wine bar. Heard they are going to stay open year-round starting in 2022 with new ownership. Highly recommend

This place is adorable! So quaint and welcoming, we were so happy to stumble in. Taylor behind the bar sold us on the Vinho Verde, a local favorite, and the seared Ahi Tuna, which was, ofcourse, delicious! We also enjoyed a wonderful spread from their cheese and charcuterie board. We finished with the rich and creamy chocolate Bomba and a Madiera wine that dated back to a 1927 Solera! It was a whole experience! My husband and I would highly recommend visiting this place... if you happen to catch them open :) ♡

I stopped by to look at a menu while my wife was shopping, but the hostess had me at "Our patio is dog-friendly." When you don't want a big meal but would rather just sip wine and try a bunch of tasty nibbles while being able to slip a little cheese to the Good Boy under the table, this is the place!

My husband and I visited this lil’gem early fall 2021. The wine was delicious and so was the tray of fruits, cheese & cold cuts. We’re here again & Thursday can’t get here fast enough. The staff was wonderful.

Lovely spot in La Veta, CO that is only open Thurs-Sat nights, but they have the BEST wine selections, charcuterie board and the best damn grilled cheese on the planet! The patio in the back is quiet and secluded. Makes a perfect spot for a first date, Girls Night Out, or date night with your spouse. Service is impeccable. Southern hospitality in the mountains! Be sure and check when they have live music! It's a must if you are passing through on the Scenic Highway of Legends! Oh and they also have yummy desserts and you can cork your wine and take it with you!

This wine bar has excellent wines and great appetizers and paninis. Specials of soups and the like sometimes too. Would recommend if you are passing anywhere near La Veta make the trip to The Deerprint.
