We just had a reception catered by eats and sweets. Chris and his staff did an outstanding job. The trays were beautifully arranged. The food was fresh. They were very tasty. We loved the selections of meats and cheeses on the charcuterie board. Chris was great to work with We’ll definitely use eats and sweets for our next catered event

Vegan ice cream! The chocolate is terrific, not just for a vegan product but for ice cream period.

A favorite local spot. Delicious ice cream, pastries (GF treats too), and food (sandwiches, salads, soups).

I’ve been coming here about 8 years now. It’s been one of my favorite places in the area. As a few others have said… it’s a real bummer we can’t build our own sandwiches anymore. Fortunately one of the workers allowed me to order a basic turkey sandwich and just add a few toppings so it was pretty close to before. But the gluten free bread is different now too. It’s very crumbly and basically ended up as bread crumbs on a plate while I ate a wad of turkey with toppings. My 2yo couldn’t really eat it as a sandwich and you know how toddlers can be. She didn’t really eat much. But regardless, I went back to the register to order another for my husband and when I asked to do the same thing this different worker kept telling me that it’s not an option. Eventually she agreed when I explained I just ordered one. So I was kind of bummed that even that option isn’t being given. I appreciated the first worker helping me. I kept a few stars bc I know they generally use quality ingredients. And the cheese cake my husband loves looks like it’s the same (can’t say bc I’m dairy free and can’t taste it). Fingers crossed it hasn’t changed. Also, when I asked the girl (who didn’t want to let me order a turkey sandwich) if their gluten free bread had dairy she couldn’t give me an answer so I had to research the bread myself. Kind of bummed she couldn’t check the package for me. She said they used to have a sign hr she couldn’t find it.

I understand their reasoning behind not offering the build your own choice but maybe there could be an in between like having the turkey sandwich available with the option to add toppings at a cost.

I've been getting sandwiches and treats here for nearly 10 years. I loved the quality of the food and how you could build your own instead of having to choose from an option. Just today I learned they are no longer offering the custom sandwiches. That was literally one of the best things about this place! I was getting ready to put in an order just now when I realized this. I'm not even interested anymore, which is a shame. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is disappointed by that.

Disappointed. Its not as good as it used to be. I used to come here a lot. The last time I found a hair in my cupcake. This time I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and it was like curd. The service wasn't great. It looked like they were getting ready to close and we were rushed.

Had a delicious meatball sub. The ice cream was so yummy.

Recently got rid of their build your own sandwich option and unless they bring that back I probably won't be back. This used to be an amazing go-to spot for our household and what made it unique and special is gone now.

Best food in Lafayette! Tomato basil soup is the best I’ve ever had, and don’t get me started on the cheesecake and other baked goods! New owner Chris is all in to keep the place going strong; updated decor and plants add beauty while maintaining the character of this beloved Lafayette icon.
