The place is dirty and run down - and what's with the big sour cream containers sitting all over the place being used as buckets? Bathroom was disgusting. Not sure how this place is still in business, or when they last had a visit from the health dept.

Hands down the best pork green chile in Boulder County. Service can be a challenge at their busiest times but they try and the food is worth the wait. People who love chain Mexican Resteraunts may not like this local place as much but what they lack in curb appeal they make up with authentic dishes.

I love going here to order the chile Verde burrito. Maybe it's the nostalgia that gets me as I grew up going to Alamos verdes in Arvada until they sadly closed. The green Chile salsa and the chile Verde are very close to what Alamos used to serve! The enchiladas are not as similar to Alamos but still good!

Food is good, but I went to the website and tried to order, as soon as I started the app my credit card was stolen, thank goodness my bank notifies me immediately, my card was closed but unfortunately it's Saturday and I have no card until the next work week.

Efrain's is always a favorite. The food is always good, the wait staff have been there for years and are awesome. The restaurant is in the heart and Lafayette and with a line out the door on Friday night you can see it is a local favorite. Nothing fancy just good food and plenty of space for big groups so you can hang out and enjoy your time!
Food was good, great portion and value. However the service was really disappointing and the ambiance wasn't terribly comfortable. Additionally, we waited a while and were ignored/forgotten, and when we finally got more chips amd salsa while waiting, the basket and dip bowls weren't removed from the table, but just plopped on top of the used one. With so many Mexican dining choices, it is a shame that there really isn't a good reason to revisit this restaurant, maybe take-out. We would definitely choose to go to a different restaurant in the area for a more pleasant Mexican food dine-in experience.

First time trying Colorado green chile after only having New Mexican chile. Heard about the state rivalry and was recommended this place. It’s super delicious! I got the hottest possible green chile they had, and it delivered heat! Almost ghost pepper level heat at some other places. Would only suggest to real chile heads. Hotter than 90 percent of the New Mexican green chile places I’ve been to. Also the flavor was unique and different. It’s very pork based. The lard was yummy and the pork was super tender mixed in with the green sauce. I definitely want to come back the next time I’m visiting Colorado from Oregon
