This place is not about the atmosphere. It's a little hole in the wall in the back of the gas station. With that said, the food is excellent. Everything I've had from them is perfectly spiced and prepared. I recommend it.

Just had the best momo in town at Mountain Bites Eatery! The Chicken Jhol Momo was perfect – soft, tender momos filled with juicy chicken, paired with a rich and flavorful jhol sauce. The sauce had the right amount of spice and made every bite satisfying.
I also tried their Popping Boba Mango Lassi for the first time, and it was a game changer! The creamy mango lassi was sweet and refreshing, while the popping boba added a fun burst of flavor with each sip. This unique combo made for a perfect meal. If you love momos or want to try something new, this place is a must-visit!

I recently ate at Mountain Bites and it really reminded me of the food in Kathmandu!
I started with the Jhol Momo. It was just like the momo I used to get on the streets of Nepal. The dumplings were soft, and the spicy broth was perfect. It tasted just like home!
Then, I had the Chicken Chowmein. It tasted like the local chowmein you find in Kathmandu—nice and tasty with a good amount of chicken. It wasn’t too oily, which was great!
Lastly, the Chatpate was awesome. It tasted exactly like the street food I used to snack on in Nepal. Spicy, crunchy, and sour—just how I love it!
Overall, if you’re craving real Nepali food, this place is spot on. It made me feel like I was back in Kathmandu. Highly recommend it! 🌟

Biryani is not very sweet raita It's broken. What are you trying to do by sending such unsavory food? After paying, you get paid to eat something sweet, so try to give something sweet. I am very sorry for sending such a bland biryani.

Everything i ordered was fine but my mango lassi tasted acidic and fizzy. Im not sure if it was expired milk or yogurt.
Not the kinda guy that likes writing bad reviews (I feel sorry for the establishment, even if the experience wasn’t good). But… here is my honest assessment of my experience.
This is a small eatery inside a convenience store by the gas station, so I wasn’t expecting much. But this was below my already low expectations. Tables were Very dirty (see photos). Very overpriced food. $20 for a vegetarian dish is more than what I pay at nice Indian restaurants for the very same dish. Including tax and a small tip (which I included even if service wasn’t good and tables weren’t waited), I paid over $24 for a saag paneer and white rice (which wasn’t fresh).
Have no idea how there are some positive reviews on this place. Perhaps it wasn’t like this always?
If management reads this, I hope they make a change. This could be way better.

Incredible food! It’s just in a gas station store, so not atmospheric, but oh my God, it’s so good. Perfect flavor profile on the samosas, freshly fried and hot, amazing texture and inner color, and the sauces were amazing. The tamarind, I think, was amazing, and mint chutney was fabulous.
